Cultural Experience - We had an early morning start with a limo ride out to the country. The scenery was great and the food on the way was a cultural experience I will never forget. Ask for the Chillie fish! ...and no it’s not that spicy. My guide, Lucy, made me a priority for the day. Lucy explained many of the cultural significances of the area as we enjoyed a hike to the top of Mount Qingcheng. I even bought some fruit from a lady on the way with WeChat. The Dujiangyan irrigation system was pretty amazing to see. 2000+ years old and still functional. I truly enjoyed my day and can say that without Lucy’s passion for her country I would not have such a memorable experience. Highly recommended. Go Lucy! Yes, I will be back.
