Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Your first stop is the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, home to over 80 of China’s iconic pandas, including the familiar black and white pandas and the lesser-known red pandas. You’ll observe the pandas in a habitat designed to mimic their natural environment and learn about the efforts to protect wild pandas and increase the captive population. Since 1987, over 100 pandas have been born at the Base. The Base gained further importance after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, which led to the relocation of eight pandas from the damaged Wolong reserve. Your visit supports ongoing conservation efforts.
Chengdu Renmin Park - Next, visit Renmin Park, a comprehensive garden that combines cultural heritage and entertainment. Locals often relax here by drinking tea. To truly understand the lifestyle in the “Capital of Leisure,” visit Renmin Park, where you can enjoy a slow-paced afternoon in a teahouse, reading, thinking, or chatting with friends.
Jinli Pedestrian Street - After lunch, take a private car to Jinli old street, a lively area filled with local snacks, artifacts, and folk shows. Time seems to slip away as you explore this vibrant street.

Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - Visit the Giant Buddha of Leshan, one of Chinese Buddhism’s holiest sites. Dating back to the 8th century, it is the largest carved stone Buddha and the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. Carved from the cliffs of Lingyun Shan, the statue was intended to calm the turbulent waters of the three rivers below. Stairs carved into the cliff allow you to view the Buddha from various angles. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Buddha, then explore the site and visit Lingyun Temple and Museum to learn more about its history.
Chengdu East Railway Station - Afterward, take a private car to Chengdu East Railway Station for your train to Chongqing. You may take the G1887 train from 17:59 to 19:33, a 1.5-hour journey.

Wulong Karst Geological Park - Wulong is known for its unique karst landforms, including stone bridges, caves, pits, sinkholes, and gorges. It gained international fame from the movie Transformers: Age of Extinction, which showcased the Three Natural Bridges. Other attractions include Furong Cave, Longshuixia Gap, and Fairy Mountain.
Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges - After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Three Natural Bridges, a key feature of this world heritage area. These giant stone arch bridges are unique and offer stunning views. During your 2-2.5 hour visit, stop by an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, built during the Tang Dynasty. The well-preserved wooden courtyards have over 20 rooms. After some free time, return to your hotel, arriving around 18:30.

Stilwell Museum/Former Residence of General Stilwell (Shidiwei Jiangjun Jiuju) - Next, visit the Stilwell Museum, also known as The Flying Tiger Memorial, which was used by the KMT government to accommodate VIPs during the war against Fascism.
Ciqikou (Porcelain Port) - After the museum, enjoy an authentic Chongqing Hot Pot for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Ciqikou old town, known for its ancient chinaware production and local folklore.

Chongqing Chaotianmen - Afterward, transfer to Chongqing Chaotianmen pier and check in for your cruise. Board the ship between 18:30 and 21:00, and depart Chongqing at 21:30.

Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area of Zhangjiajie - Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, north of Zhangjiajie City, is a charming tourist attraction and one of China’s 40 famous scenic spots. Known as ‘The ampliative miniascape and the contractible fairyland,’ it was added to the ‘World Heritage List’ in 1992. The area boasts natural beauty with mountains, valleys, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. It covers 690 square kilometers and includes Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, and Yangjiajie Scenic Area. Today, visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve.
Tianzi Mountain - After purchasing park entrance tickets, take a shuttle bus (20 minutes) to the Tianzi Mountain cable station and walk up 200 steps to reach the station.
Tianzi Mountain Clouds - After a 20-minute cable car ride, reach the top of Tianzi Mountain and take a shuttle bus (5 minutes) to the central area, offering stunning views of the peak forest. Known as ‘the Monarch of the Peak Forest,’ the mountain offers beautiful scenes in different seasons, including the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine, and Snow in winter.
BaiLong Elevator - After visiting Yuanjiajie (Avatar mountain), take a shuttle bus (15 minutes) to the Bailong Elevator. The elevator is 335 meters tall, with a running height of 326 meters. It includes three sightseeing elevators running parallelly, each carrying 50 passengers at a speed of 3 m/s (accelerated to 5m/s since 2013). The elevators can transport 4,000 passengers per hour.
Golden Whip Brook - Hike for an hour along the Golden Whip Stream, known for its pristine water, verdant mountains, steep cliffs, and serene valley. The stream is named after Golden Whip Crag and runs from Laomo Bay to Shui Rao Si Men.
Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Next, visit the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge area, but there is no time to visit the Grand Canyon. The bridge is the world’s longest and highest glass bridge, offering a bird’s eye view of the Grand Canyon.

Tianmen Mountain, the highest spot in Zhangjiajie at 1500m, offers exciting cliff-paths, glass walkways, and bird’s eye views of the city and countryside. The mountain holds four World Guinness Records and offers a unique experience.
Zhangjiajie - After lunch, transfer to Zhangjiajie airport for your flight to Shanghai, possibly taking the Ho1046 from 19:15 to 21:20.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Zhujiajiao water town, known as Shanghai’s Venice, has a history of over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers, the town features Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge. Kezhi Garden, built in 1912, includes pavilions, buildings, a lotus pond, stele corridors, and a bridge of nine turnings. The Qing Dynasty Post Office displays old postcards and letters, and Fangsheng Bridge, built in the Ming Dynasty, is the largest and longest stone arch bridge in Shanghai. Take a wooden boat from Kezhi Garden to North Street and enjoy free time to explore the ancient streets and interact with locals.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, built in 1882 to house two white jade Buddha statues from Burma. The temple is an active Zen monastery and plays a significant role in promoting Buddhism through cultural activities.
