Personalized half-day tour of Chennai - My friends and I were in Chennai for a wedding and wanted to see the sights on our last day in town. We only had a few hours and wanted to see the main sights without too much time spent in transit. I reached out Wonder Tours based on the reviews and received an email from Rajesh very quickly with suggested options and rates. The booking process was easy and transparent. Rajesh organized a personalized, private tour for us to see four of the main sights, including transportation and lunch. What was nice was that Rajesh presented us with options so we could really tailor the itinerary to our tastes and it didn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all approach. All in all, this was the perfect way to see everything and finished off our trip to South India. The highlight was the delicious biryani lunch at this low-key place we would have never found for ourselves. Rajesh in particular was great to work with, he responded to my emails very quickly and was patient when I had to change the party size twice. He showed up on time and communicated well with my group. I can’t recommend him and wonder Tours enough, really great experience all around.

Charming tour in Chennai - Very interesting tour in Chennai with Rajesh . Started from vast and colourful Marina beach, fish markets , then visit many historical and religious sights . Rajesh was very helpful and knowledgeable with explanations on points of interest. Driver has shown defensive and responsible driving during the tour.

Fabulous Chennai tour - As a visitor from the UK, I found Chennai's city tour to be a fascinating mix of tradition and modernity. The vibrant Marina Beach was a lovely start, and the Kapaleeshwarar Temple's intricate architecture was mesmerizing.Fort St. George offered a glimpse into colonial history, and Mylapore's bustling streets gave a true taste of local culture.While the traffic can be intense, and the heat overwhelming, the warm hospitality and rich cultural experiences made it well worth the visit. A must-see for anyone interested in India's diverse heritage.

City tour with Rajesh - The tour might also include the Marina Beach, one of the longest urban beaches in the world, and the bustling local markets like those at T. Nagar. Guided tours often provide valuable insights into the city’s rich cultural heritage, including its diverse cuisine, vibrant arts scene, and traditional crafts.

Overpriced and underwhelming - Started strong then fell off quickly. This was compounded when we were told we could go to see handicrafts being made and were instead taken to a jewelry shop and given a hard sell to buy (obviously some kind of commission deal with the guide) - I’d expect this from a random taxi guide but not for a paid tour! Quite shady behaviour. The tour guide was not enthusiastic - felt like we were a burden after the first temple. One of the temples was closed with no replacement stop. The lunch was tasty but we were told that it was “the McDonald’s of India” - for the price I’d expect better. Considering this costs £55 per person (!!), I would say it is very overpriced.
