Good sightseeing if you are interested in old monument - Good sightseeing if you are interested in old monument, i will not suggest to take a dip in water as water quality seems to be bad. ASI need to maintain the original nature of many temples and educate the people about the purpose of temples and not just the characters of building.

Recommendation for tour guide in Mahabalipuram - We had a very positive experience with Loganathan in Mahabalipuram as a family of 5 with small children. We also had 4 other adults in the family party, making it a total group of 9. We found Logu’s information on Trip Advisor. He helped explain the significance of the temples and carvings. Exploring the Magnificent History and Architecture of Ancient India - The whole town is a ASI site showcasing ancients hindu architecture and sculptures. Most of the sculptures are created from single granite rocks. All this monuments are traced back to 7th and 9th Century.
