Excellent way to spend a morning! - I was lucky enough to take this tour a couple weeks ago and it was fantastic! My tour guide Kannan was excellent - knowledgeable, personable, and overall a great person to walk around with. As a solo traveler in Chennai on business, it was the perfect trip to help me see a little bit of the city and the culture.

A beautiful memory! - This was my first visit to Chennai and I stayed at the Trident Chennai for 2 nights. I checked in for one night after flying in from Boston, US. I was on my way to Trichy for a wedding at the temple town of Kumbakonam. After having had a long flight from Boston, Trident provided me the perfect night's rest. I checked in again for a night on my way back from Trichy. During both occasions, I found my room to be cosy and relaxing. My trip was rushed but they have all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. The establishment has a beautiful Spa, gym and pool. I wished I could have stayed longer to use their gym and Spa. The Concierge at the hotel gave me some great recommendations for touring the town. The employees at Trident Chennai go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. They were courteous and most hospitable. I tried the food at both their restaurants Cinnamon and Samudra. I personally liked the food at Cinnamon since they had variety, both traditional South Indian cuisine as well as Moghlai cuisine. Thank you to everybody at Trident hotel who made my first visit to Chennai the most beautiful dream of an experience. I did spent sometime doing a few things, visited the LIOA art gallery and some shopping around the area. I found using the Uber service the most convenient during my outings.

Magical experience of Mylapore walk - It was a perfect experience! My guide Hareesh was really great, the explanations were clear, I learned a lot about the history of Mylapore and Hinduism! I loved the experience at the Kapaleeshwar temple as well as the visit to St. Thomas Basilica. Thanks again Hareesh and 5Senses!

Wonderful walking tour in historic Mylapore - I enjoyed this tour; Mylapore God Tour very much. My guide, Kannon was so knowledgeable and made the tour so interesting, incorporating the background to the different religions but with many details on architecture and even flowers and trees. I also enjoyed seeing the Mylapore area by foot. Enjoyed a wonderful coffee and sweet treats. I highly recommend this tour.

Perfect tour if you want to learn about indian ways of life - The tour is great luckily i went there on weekend so the temple was full of people and there are many amazing cultural things to observe.

A must-do while in Chennai - I had the pleasure to spend the morning with Hareesh, my tour guide, who, honestly, made my day! He was able to explain very abstract and philosophical topics in an easy-going and interesting way. I could really immerse myself in the hindu religion and learn so much. Throughout the tour, you are also able to pass by different religions (Jainism, Christianity, Hindu, Sri Krishnama’s religion etc), which makes the tour even more special. I would definitely recommend this while in Chennai!

An Excellent Experience - We had such a wonderful morning with our guide, Kannan. He was incredibly knowledgeable and his way of presenting information and showing us the sights was perfect. Our walking tour was comfortable, educational, and fun. Kannan allowed us to go at our pace to take in the beauty of each stop on our itinerary. We have a much deeper understanding of the fascinating religious history of Chennai. I would highly recommend booking a tour with 5 Senses!

Great way to understand Chennai’s religious background - Absolutely amazing tour! If you only have a few hours available in Chennai this tour is a great way to see the diversity in Indian religious background and how that influences the culture. Ganesh (yes, like the god 😁), my guide, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. Even accepted to take me to the airport at the end of the tour instead of back to the hotel, which saved me time and allowed me to enjoy the tour better 😁

Quick tour through Chennai - The tour with Ganesh was quick but exactly what I needed, as I did not have much time. He was friendly and explained me everything that I asked so I could have an idea about the local culture.
