Chidambaram Nataraja Temple - After breakfast transfer to Chidambaram. Chidambaram is an important pilgrim centre for Shaivites and is known for its famous Nataraja temple which was erected in the reign of Vira Chola Raja. Chidambaram Natarajar Temple or Thillai Natarajar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Natarajar (Shiva) the Lord of Dance in Chidambaram from Tamilnadu in the Indian State. The Natarajar temple has ancient roots, likely following the temple Architecture tradition that is found all over South India from at least the 5th Century. The Surviving Natarajar temple has a Structure that is traceable to the Early Chola Dynasty.

Pichavaram Mangrove Forest - Later drive to Pichavaram nearest town in Chidambaram to explore the Mangrove forest boat ride. The second-largest mangrove forest with its myriad islands houses, a number of unique flora and fauna. You can enjoy around the 1100-hectare area of the forest, which takes you through a narrow canal, breath-taking sceneries and allows you to witness the amazing life forms of the Mangrove trees while adoring the bird life of the forest. Later drive to Pondicherry, check in hotel, and stay.

PONDICHERRY

Pondicherry - Evening proceeds for engaging in local activities with the residents in Pondicherry. Cooking class then most interesting part engage in saree draping and Kolam (Rangoli) drawing. Stay in Pondicherry.

PONDICHERRY - MAHABALIPURAM (100 Km, 2 hrs approx excluding stops)

Mahabalipuram - Morning after breakfast transfer to Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram is an enigmatic place to visit in Chennai. It was a flourishing port town of the Pallava dynasty. The historical monuments of Mahabalipuram give a great opportunity to experience the ambiance of bygone eras.
