Service beyond ecxpectations - It was the best trip I've had so far. Rajesh was very attentive, understanding as I have mobility issues. Rajesh went beyond the call of duty to make accessibility as easy as possible for me. I was given a "door to door service." My anxiety was short-lived. The lunch was great, too. Thank you, Rajesh, for the care and attention you have given to me on this trip. You also became my photographer so I could capture each memory and become a part of it. I wish you and Wonder Tours a great future. Kind regards, N J Patel

Fabulous - I had a fantastic day with our guide Rajesh! We explored several fascinating sites in Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram, including the Shore Temple and the stunning rock carvings. Each place was rich in history and culture. To top it off, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the end of the tour. Highly recommend this experience!

Definitely recommend this tour - My mom and I took the private tour of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram with Rajesh and his colleague, and I highly recommend them. Rajesh was punctual, arriving on time to pick us up from the hotel, and was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful throughout the tour. I was initially worried that a full-day tour might feel rushed for my mom, but Rajesh made sure we moved at a comfortable pace. We never felt hurried and had plenty of time to explore each site at our own pace. I’m already looking forward to booking my next tours with them. There’s so much more to discover in South India, and this one-day tour was just the beginning!

Pallava Kingdom temples! - A day trip from Chennai to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram is a fantastic way to explore the rich cultural heritage and stunning architecture of Tamil Nadu. Both destinations offer a unique glimpse into India's history and are relatively close to each other, making them ideal for a day-long excursion.

Great Temple tour from Chennai - Had a fantastic tour with my guide Nanda, he was very good and passed on lots of interesting information. Very friendly and attentive. The day itself was quite long but this was to be expected with all the visits that are packed in. I would not have changed anything. The driver Venkadesh was also very professional and safe.

Great day trip from Chennai - We spend a great day with Rajesh and the driver visiting the historical sites and temples. We stopped at two nice restaurants for breakfast and lunch. Rajesh and the driver took good care of us throughout the day and always ensuring to minimise our walking in the heat. Wonderful way to start our holidays!

Tamil Nadu- the Scotland of India? - Had already been to Rajasthan and Kerala, but found my 2nd visit to India very different, and simply loved it- 8 days of full-on smells, colours, sounds and tastes. Started in Chennai, a bustling sea-side city, which seemed more "normal" compared to the cities of the north (or maybe it was because I'd seen similar before). Bit sprawling on the OMR (On Main Road), but full of interest. Apart from visiting historical sites, went to the beach, to Pondy Bazaar and to a Shopping Mall, just as many young Indians do on a Sunday (PS Got loads of presents to bring home!) Arranged a driver with the doorman at the hotel, and toured mountain area (Yercaud) where, unfortunately, it rained as we arrived (and the hotel was awful!), but the views (and sounds) in the morning were spectacular! Headed to near Karaikudi - to Kanadukathan- to a Chettinadu Mansion hotel, which is a must if you visit. From there, after visiting a couple of local attractions (but deciding not to go to Madurai) moved to Tanjore, visiting the magnificent main temple. From Tanjore to Puducherry, with its fascinating mixture of Indian and French. A visit to Mahabalipuram on the way back to Chennai. Didn't do all the tourist parts there because it was just so so busy! What did I like? I fell in love with the Chettinaadu heritage, with the mountains, with the older temples, with the different food, and with the people, who wouldn't bat an eyelid even when I was the only European in the midst. What didn't I like? how busy some of the big sites were; and you forget how big this country is so, to avoid sitting in the car for days on end, we were forced to miss various places on the list, such as Trichy, Madurai and Rameswaram- next time. Will provide hotel/food reviews separately.
