A walking delight - This was a great food tour. We met Rajesh who was waiting for my wife and I at the pick up point. It was great trying a mix of restaurant and street food. Being immersed in the hustle and bustle of Chennai one minute to sitting down in an A/C restaurant eating Dosa and Puri with accompanied dishes and delights. Go hungry, it's an absolute delight and Rajesh was super friendly ensuring we safely got back into an Uber. Highly recommend.

A fun and vibrant food tour - This food tour provided an excellent insight into life in Chennai and incorporated lots of delicious food and drinks. Our tour guide, Nanda, was extremely knowledgeable and told us a lot about the history and culture of Chennai. We spent a couple of hours walking around the busy Chennai market stopping off to sample various fresh foods. The highlights for us were the samosas and mango lassi. It was a Saturday afternoon so it was very crowded on the streets with lots of bikes and tuk tuks moving past us. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend for families with young children as there were no clear pavements as the vendors spill out onto the streets but it was fine for my wife and I. There were chances to stop and take a few photos of some nice buildings and we finished having tea in a nicely air conditioned cafe which helped us digest our food. Nanda was very welcoming and made the tour a very special experience, thank you!

India gastronomic experience - Amazing! The food was great, I was super full at the end of it. Our guide was informed about the food, the regions where they belong and the ingredients. We went to places that we would have definitely not have gone without him. I recommend it this tour a 100% , worth every penny.

Bad Tour - Not Recommended - Very little interesting to see or talk about, not many interesting foods to try and learn about, very long walk (1/2 to 3/4 mile) through street packed with people, carts, cars, tuk-tuks and very bothersome noise from constant horn honking. This walk is intended for you to experience the "culture" of the market; we could have walked just a few blocks, gotten the idea, and avoided the remaining unpleasantness. We have been on at least a dozen other food tours in many countries around the world, so we have much to compare this experience with. I truly wish the experience could have been better and that we could have given a more favorable review, as we truly wish the Indian people to succeed and experience a better and better way of life.
