Our guide Mr. Goal was... - Our guide Mr. Goal was fantastic! The food was great, and plenty of it. Only eat a couple of bites of everything and you'll still be stuffed.

Food tour - It was a fun time. Don't eat before you go on this tour. There are several stops explaining the various influences in Northern Thailand.

Great tour, definitely worth the money! - Mr Go was an amazing host and full of information! The food was amazing, and the street food markets we were taken to was definitely not what you would expect. Food restaurant quality from a little stall!

Good food, good company - This was a great experience. We ate at some family owned restaurants and street food stalls owned by friends of our guide. Not much walking. A nice opportunity to get to know some other visitors to Chiang Mai.

Don’t miss out on this one!!! - Mr Goal, our tour guide loves to eat & share his love & knowledge of Thai cuisine! He will steer you to the best places only known to locals. He takes his job seriously ( that you will have a great time & eat great food)! I highly recommend!!!

Amazing food tour, great way to experience Thai cuisine! - We had an excellent time with Mr. Goal on this food tour. We ended up being a small group of 4 people (two couples), and we were out for close to 4 hours. Mr. Goal was able to take us all around the city, we tried at least 16 dishes (some of which he went out of his way to get us because we requested it be part of the tour). This was a great way to start our Thailand travels, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Underwhelming and chaotic - Hectic and hard to follow. The quide tried to explain northern cuisine but ultimately he was hard to understand for many of us. Not very delicious street foods, not well presented, chaotic, and underwhelming overall.

Good Food, Bad Guide - The food itself was great, the food was delicious. But unfortunately I cannot confirm the good reviews about our guide. When we were picked up, he didn't even introduce himself, but (chewing gum) gave us a dismissive piece of paper and said we should fill it out. Throughout the entire tour, he said very little and (not lying) sometimes ran to the nearest food stall or encouraged us to eat faster, as if we were in a hurry. My Boyfriend even asked him why as we chased through the tour, he got the answer that the food stalls would close or the food would be handed out (we had 8 p.m. and most things closed at 11/12 p.m.). Great tour in itself, unfortunately the guide wasn't interested in giving us a great tour. Therefore, I would not recommend the tour with this guide ( we dont know his Name because he didnt told us).

An okay time - The tour was erratic and left a lot to be desired. For around $35 USD, you taste about $15 USD worth of food and do not learn or experience much that you could not on your own. However, transportation to and from the hotel was on time and appreciated. The description of the tour and the actual tour did not match well. We did not learn much about the food; we only learned that certain dishes come from certain areas of Thailand and are influenced by the region. We did not learn how to order in Thai as stated in the description, only referenced an old information packet with Thai-to-English translations. Otherwise, we ate at one unique restaurant and then walked around two different night markets (that anyone can access) sampling different food that the tour guide picked out.
