Additional Information

Smile Organic Farm is not your typical cooking school. We are nestled within a tranquil organic farmland and garden where we don’t just instruct you on Thai cuisine but also on cultivating vegetables and recognizing herbs from our own garden. You also get to cook and savour your meals amidst the calming environment. Our farmstead is situated about 45 minutes from the historic city, Chiang Mai, in close proximity to the San Kamphaeng Hot Springs. Enroute to our school, we make a pit stop at a local marketplace. This allows you to witness firsthand the rustic lifestyle of the countryside residents of Chiang Mai. Our thriving kitchen garden, nurtured with love and care with the aim of promoting good health, is the source of all our ingredients. We use these freshly harvested ingredients to whip up nutritious Thai meals and also provide them for your culinary creations. We accommodate vegetarian and vegan dietary choices. Our educators are proficient, friendly and offer individualized guidance. Our recipes not only offer health benefits but are also simple enough to recreate at home. As part of our course, students are provided with an e-book containing all the recipes via email.

We had a brilliant day cooking. The food was delicious and our instructor Smile was the best! - I was a part of Smile’s group. We had such an amazing day learning about Thai cuisine and ingredients. Smile was an amazing instructor, she was informative, helpful and also so fun. The food was amazing and so fresh - the best sticky rice I’ve tried in Thailand. The farm has lots of animals (cats, tortoise, peacock) as well as crops and was the perfect place to stroll around during our breaks. I would definitely recommend completing the full day if you enjoy cooking and learning about Thai cuisine.

Wonderful cooking experience on a rainy day - Smile is an amazing tour guide. Very resourceful and relaxing class, especially in the rainy and chilly day. We learned 7 courses from main dish to dessert, and got a comprehensive recipe afterwards.

Incredibly greedy - It was great, lily was very funny and very pedagogical. From beginning to end, the visit to the Point of Sale at the beginning where they explain to us a little what the teas use during their kitchens, the arrival at the farm where we are literally plunged in a garden with full daromata it is great no regrets

Goodbye and goodbye. - It was so fun and good. I was with smile and was very friendly and easy to write in English. English is less than the Koreans think, so try the challenge, so don't worry.

Fun experience, super sexy - Great and really fun cooking class. I was on a solo course, the teacher, Lizzy, made me comfortable with the rest of the group. As she would say, food is super sexy! (You will understand when you take the class)
