A lot of shopping, less demonstration - Recommended for shopping lovers. I had thought this tour would focus more on the process of making handcrafts but it was 5% demonstration and 95% showroom/shopping. Useful if you’d like to see/buy a lot of different handcraft specialities (gemstones, furniture, silk, cotton, wood, silver, and we didn’t continue to the lacquerware), but not a lot of demonstration apart from the silk centre, where we saw the silk process from silkworm to weaving. Some of the places seemed deserted (possibly haven’t started the demos again due to covid?) Friendly and helpful guide, and comfortable van.
