- The Loop - View Crime scenes immortalized in vintage news footage; the theater where the law caught up with Dillinger, the restaurant where the North Side Gang riddled Al Capone’s motorcade with rounds from their Tommy Guns, and the site of the infamous St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
- Lincoln Park - Amazing stories of True Crime come to life on this tour. Guests will also have the unique experience of getting to visit many of the old venues that these gangsters used to operate out of. Including old speakeasies and historic hotels. The Chicago Crime and Gangster Tour includes your expert historian Guide and chauffeured Luxury transportation for a 3-hour minimum but the length of the experience can easily be extended at the client’s request.
- Green Mill - Sit in Al Capone’s booth at the Green Mill.
- Biograph Theatre - Visit the location where John Dillinger was shot.
- Holy Name Cathedral - Holy Name Cathedral is part of Chicago’s notorious past. Legend says the hole in the exterior cornerstone stems from the 1926 murder of O’Banion protégé Earl “Little Hymie” Weiss on the church’s steps. To this day, some newlyweds place their finger in the hole for good luck.
- Millennium Park - Take a photo with Cloud Gate, aka “The Bean!”

The tour includes views of crime scenes etched into history through old newsreels, the theater that signaled the end for Dillinger, the eatery where Al Capone’s motorcade was strafed with bullets from the North Side Gang’s Thompson submachine guns, and the location of the infamous St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
We narrate Chicago’s rich yet dark history of crime vividly, right before your eyes.

Great time with the family - I took the Al Capone Gangster Tour in Chicago with my wife and kids, and it was a blast! I’ve always loved old gangster movies, so seeing the real places where Capone and his crew hung out was awesome. My kids even stayed interested the whole time, which is a miracle, lol. If you’re in Chicago, you’ve got to check this out. It’s worth every penny!

So fun!!! - This tour was a blast! Our guide treated us like royalty and was so funny! If you want a private tour where you will learn a lot, this is the one! Highly recommend!

Great for gangster aficionados - I’m obsessed with gangster history, so this tour was perfect for me! And Chicago is THE place for gangster lore. My tour guide was really engaging and answered all my questions.

Sarah: Mob Expert - My 12 year old son is huge into gangsters as is my wife and I, a family affair! We still learned things and saw places we had never even heard of. Sarah was super great about customizing the tour to our liking. We even stopped for ice cream with my son. Thanks Sarah!!

Very informative - Steve was a great guide. He allowed us to make the tour our own and went off the path to show us cool things based on our questions. We learned things about the early gangsters and some things about Chicago, it's buildings and neighborhoods. We wouldn't have seen or known these things if we were left to explore on our own in the few days we had here. He took pictures of our group for us and showed us some great spots for photos.. Overall very informative and casual. Our driver was great as well. Courteous and a gentleman who kept us safe in the traffic.

Viator made a horrible experience mildly better - rxp naive but hoped it’d be worth it. tour guide was a no show and thankfully viator has initiated a refund.
