Fun and interesting! - Equal parts fun and interesting! Learned a lot and had a very good time. If you are able, take a tour with Paul - knows his stuff, charming and witty. I have walked these streets many times but from now on will do it with a completely different perspective - so interesting!!

Who knew? A nugget of a neighborhood. - This is an excellent tour of an area downtown that’s very close to the Riverwalk and Michigan Avenue, but actually a fairly quiet and elegant neighborhood. We’ve lived in Chicago for 10 years and were unaware of this area. The tour guide was excellent: clear, concise, friendly and very knowledgeable. The tour covers different styles and periods of Chicago’s architecture but the emphasis is on the new. It was a beautiful evening and we dined along the quieter side of the Riverwalk after the tour and watched all the boats, kayaks, and the sunset on the buildings. Lovely evening.

An excellent and unique tour among the CAC's repertoire - I had taken this tour several years ago before the pandemic and it was very good. My husband and I took it yesterday and it was FABULOUS. While all CAC docents are tour-worthy individuals, Mary Jo was a cut above. The area covered was Streeterville, with a glimpse across the river to new East Side. She has a strong attachment to this area and is the one who created this tour and has updated it as the neighborhood has evolved. The architecture and construction techniques found in this area are unlike those we've seen on any of the other Architecture Center tours, and - as we usually do - we learned so much. Mary Jo's pace, the content of her tour, and her delightful delivery made for a tour that we would highly recommend.

Interesting - Very interesting, factual tour of a select number of buildings representing the history of Chicago architecture. Our guide Amy was nice enough to stop in shade on a hot day for building viewings.

Fantatic! - Our guide Maureen was personable and full of information. When she didn't know something, which was rare, she admitted as such. She was full of other excellent suggestions for our remaining time in Chicago.
