Wayne, an excellent guide. - Wayne, our guide, was awesome, very informative and patient. The tour was set chronologically. Thus, my wife and I learned not only about architecture but also about Chicago's history. Our group was small and very interactive.

Wonderful tour - Rene did an amazing job of giving us the history of Chicago from the beginning to the last building completed in Chicago. The walking was not a lot so this tour would be good for anybody.

Best of Chicago - I found it very interesting as a 15 year old, even if I didn't believe it. We had a very nice manager.

A wonderful glimpse into Chicago's iconic building history - The 90 minute walking tour gave us a chronological view of how and why Chicago became the premiere city for iconic skyscrapers. Our guide, Nancy did a wonderful job in laying out historical events that propelled the building boom in Chicago. We throughly enjoyed chronological nature of the tour and would highly recommend including it in your visit to downtown Chicago.

Excellent walking tour of old and new buildings - Mary was a knowledgeable docent with a great deal of information about the buildings and plazas that were covered in this one hour 45 minute walking tour. This tour included the old and the new.

Perfect for architecture lovers - We embarked on yet another CAC tour, the fourth one, called “Chicago Architecture: A Walk Through Time”, but our docent didn’t arrive and we got a substitute. He was a nice person but storytelling clearly isn’t his strong suit. We got bored because this tour had basically nothing new for us on its agenda after the three brilliant tours we have already taken. We brought our apologies and continued on our own. Having said that, I still highly recommend taking this tour, if you are interested in the history of spectacular Chicago architecture.
