Probably 100x Better in Summer - Went on a very cold February afternoon when it was far too chilly to sit on deck. The inside accommodation was warm but very limited so get there early to get a seat (the ticket said to be there 30 mins before, but they didn't start boarding until 10 mins before so there's no need to be THAT early!) The bar has an excellent selection and the staff were all polite and professional. The cruise itself was interesting but its very difficult to see from inside the boat, really you need to be on deck for the full experience, hence this is definitely not the best choice of activity in cold weather! The guide provided lots of info on the architecture and a little bit of Chicago history- she knew her stuff but didn't have great delivery and spoke in a monotone and sounded truly unenthusiastic which is never good for a tour guide!
