Easy to use app - Great app. I just breezed right on through showing my tickets on the app. User friendly and ease of use at the entrance. Only thing that would have made it better was if I could have added it to my wallet.

Chicago: One of the most beautiful cities in the world - If you want to throw prejudices overboard, you should travel to Chicago: Al Capone or high crime rate? Forget it. For me, Chicago is one of the most beautiful cities I have seen - and I have seen many. An incredibly harmonious collection of outstanding architecture from all eras since 1870 in a confined space. The heart of the city can be explored on foot. And it’s a city of millions that has managed to keep 36 miles of shoreline to Lake Michigan free from any private use, only parks like the famous and popular Millennium Park, beaches and public facilities (including open-air stage and museums) connecting the city center to the water. Super nice and helpful people meet you who are maintaining a very slow pace for a US metropolis. Other advantages: Good public transport, top gastronomy, lots of art in museums and public spaces. Negatives? Chicago is noisy. From the frequently perceptible sirens of the rescue vehicles to the fan of the air conditioning in the hotel room. But Chicago is no different than other US cities. But what sets the city apart from all the other cities I know, makes it a worthwhile destination time and again.

48 hours in Chicago. Nice hour - Wonderfully creative pieces. While the museum is small it obtains a nice variety of different art forms which is fun to see.

A little disappointed - I was hoping for some more interesting and groundbreaking pieces and I felt that the main exhibition was a little shabby. I liked the Virginia Jaramillo exhibition though.

Not worth the cost - I love all kinds of art. The exhibits here are thought provoking and I enjoyed them immensely. The museum is not large however and we finished walking through the exhibits quickly. For the price, I was expected to spend more time entertained by what I was looking at particularly since I had just been to the Art Institute and spent so long there I only left because my feet got tired of walking.

Depressed - The employees were friendly, but I have discovered that I am not a fan of this type of art work. I felt it was very depressing.

Generally unpleasant / Go to the Art Institute instead - We visit Chicago every summer and attend a different museum in the city each time. We absolutely love the Art Institute, the Museum of Science & Industry, The Field Museum etc- and hoped to round out our experience w some contemporary art this year. The MCA was by far the most disappointing. Every art installation in the building (except maybe one) included elements of violence, sex, abuse and general themes that my family did not really enjoy. Regardless of whether people feel it is appropriate for the venue or a necessary part of contemporary art - we just did not enjoy seeing it. If you’re really into this and/or do not have kids with you - then go for it. Otherwise you may want to skip it; I wish we did.

Not exciting, depend on the exhibitions of the moment - honestly, it’s not a very interesting museum because little is provided. little permanent collection so everything relies on ongoing exhibitions, which we didn’t find exciting.
