• The Chicago Theatre - The tour begins beneath the stunning marquee of the Chicago Theatre, a familiar sight from numerous films and TV shows, before venturing into the vibrant city.

• Chicago Pedway - Weather permitting, the tour will proceed to the Chicago Pedway. This distinctive feature of Chicago is utilized daily by locals and commuters to navigate the city through a network of underground tunnels, especially vital during the harsh Midwest winters.

• City of Chicago - City Hall - The tour will pass by the City Hall-County Building, commonly referred to as City Hall, which houses the government offices of the City of Chicago and Cook County.

• Chicago River - Participants will enjoy the local experience as they walk past buildings and take in even more spectacular views. The Chicago skyline will be seen from a completely different angle, sharing in the daily commute of local Chicagoans along the city’s main artery.

• Wrigley Building - The tour will pass the Wrigley Building, located on the Magnificent Mile directly across Michigan Avenue from the Tribune Tower. Its two elaborately styled towers were constructed between 1920 and 1924 to serve as the corporate headquarters of the Wrigley Company.

• Tribune Tower - The tour will pass by the Tribune Tower, a 463-foot-tall (141 m), 36-floor neo-Gothic skyscraper situated at 435 North Michigan Avenue.

• Millennium Park - Next is the picturesque Millennium Park, home to the iconic Bean sculpture. Here or nearby, the guide will conclude the tour and provide directions to more incredible sights, excellent lunch spots, or a drink recommendation.

• Cloud Gate - The tour will pass by the Cloud Gate sculpture, commonly known as “The Bean,” a public artwork that serves as the centerpiece of Millennium Park.

• River North - The food tour begins with a renowned Chicago specialty: the Chicago-style hot dog. Every Chicagoan has their own preference for how the hot dog should be prepared, and participants will have the opportunity to try the guide’s favorite version.

Next is the legendary Chicago deep-dish pizza! A complete meal in itself, this staple of the Chicago culinary scene originated in River North in the 1940s, when workers and families needed hearty meals at affordable prices. The guide will take participants to a pizza place that is iconic to Chicago natives to experience the authentic taste.

After indulging in pizza and hot dogs, the tour will continue with visits to two more establishments, each integral to Chicago’s food culture. The tasting journey will then proceed with a classic Chicago sandwich: Italian beef. Participants will sample this sandwich in a genuine Chicago institution, complete with no-frills decor!

• Historic Water Tower - The tour will pass by the beautiful water tower, constructed to house a large water pump designed to draw water from Lake Michigan. Built in 1869, it is the second-oldest water tower in the United States.
