This architectural cruise will take you down the primary route of the Chicago River, up its northern branch reaching the East Bank Club, then south beyond Willis Tower (Sears Tower) going up to the former Post Office Building. Marvel at the impressive city skyline while noting over 40 significant buildings such as John Hancock Center and Wrigley Building. Your onboard expert guide will enlighten you about their unique architectural styles.

What's not to like - Our guide was able to provide great insights on the architechure styles and challenges to the many buildings along the river route. We were able to use this information to enhance the rest of our time in Chicago. The fact that we had an open deck boat was definitely appealing as it provided full views on both sides of the river.

Must Do for Chicago! - Incredible tour! Very informative and would do again. Drinks were available for purchase and were very good. Blankets were available too— and much needed on a cold evening!

Nice trip! - We really enjoyed the trip along the river. The only thing was that we were cold, but it was our mistake, we didn’t dress warmly enough.

Highlight of our trip to Chicago - Absolutely amazing river trip especially with the river dyed green for St. Patrick’s day! Our guide Kevin was great and made the experience even more enjoyable! Would recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago.

A decent architectural snack - This is a decent tour, but I would think of it more as a brief cruise down the river and back then a true architectural tour. The architectural component is light and overly focused on buildings less than 10 years old in. If you are interested in a deeper architectural experience, I would look elsewhere.
