Segway thru Chicago! - This tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Mike, was phenomenal. We were first-timers riding a Segway, but thanks to our excellent tour guide, we felt extremely comfortable and safe. He was funny and knowledgeable. We had a great time and recommend this tour with Captain Segway 500%!

Fun way to explore Chicago - I thoroughly enjoyed the tour - it was really fun riding the Segway through Grant Park, the museum campus, the nature trail in Northerly Island Park and the streets of Chicago. I can't even begin to tell you how cool it was to be able to glide effortlessly through the streets and parks with the wind whizzing by you ... it was like, I was a kid again. Mike (Captain Segway), our tour guide did a great job with his introductory remarks in allaying our fears and jitters - all four in our group had never ever ridden a Segway before. We spent the next 10 minutes practicing our newly learned driving skills in the nearby alley, which included stepping up and off, speeding up and slowing down, turning, reversing and parking the Segway. Then we were off to explore Chicago. Mike's commentary during the tour about the history of Buckingham Fountain, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Alder Planetarium and Soldier Field was quite informative. The highlight of the tour for me was riding the nature trail in Northerly Island Park which gave us some incredible views of the Chicago skyline.

Fun experience - Overall fun experience. Mike shared interesting information about the sights. It was serious at first as we learned the rules and practiced operating the segways. Once we got into the park it was really fun and the time flew. We would book again! Parking very reasonable in nearby garages. Restaurants nearby for lunch before our tour.

I've had better - The storefront was a mess, the bathroom was disgusting, no paper towels, watered down soap, was afraid to touch any surface. Then we got onto the segweys. I've been on probably 10 segwey tours and most tours keep their segweys in good condition, not these ones. Then we go through a dangerous path through muddy, uneven parks. The tour guide goes full speed ahead to a point where he's a football field away from us. Usually on segwey tours the guides keep close to their group to answer questions and ensure safety, not so much here. Stops and photo opps we're very few and very far between. Very little history was given about the different stops. The guide seemed pessimistic and tired of doing these tours. At times the segweys were fun, but this was by far the least professional, least informative segwey tour we've ever been on. I hope the owner decides to clean things up or close up shop, whichever makes more sense for them

Closed for Season - We tried to schedule a tour in Chicago and the payment went through on Viator only to find out that they were closed for the season when we got to the meeting point. We called the number and they said they would return the money but we still haven’t seen it returned.
