Nice place to visit for a sunset. - The Pier was great place to go to with my girlfriend. While it was a little busy, it was in no way suffocating. If you want to get a good view of the skyline and the lake I would recommend getting a ticket to get onto the Centennial Wheel. The views were phenomenal and walking on the lakefront trail was a good way to end on a fantastic day.

Great view of Chicago! - Decided to ride this attraction at sunset to see Chicago from a different angle. WOW is all I can say about this view. It is definitely a must do when in town.

Great views of the lake and city - Go on a nice day and you won’t be disappointed. The views are spectacular and you can see lots of boats, the wonderful architecture of the city skyline, and the beach. The ride goes around 3 times, which is ample.

Navy Pier is a Chicago must see, fireworks 🎆 show was great - Odyssey Dinner Cruise on Lake MICHIGAN is nice, enjoyed DJ Pat and the music 🎶, weather was not the best (foggy), but overall had a great time

Chicago's Ferris Wheel - Great views. Short ride. Not really sure it's worth the money, but it's a good place to sit for a while. The cars are large so my whole family was able to fit in one car.

Good but not worth it - We bought the fast pass - for 3 people, it was $100. Our daughter is 5 and she was running low on energy. So the long line was a no go. You take your picture on the way in, and the sun was in our faces. So that didn’t pan out. However, they print it to show you… why not just include it in the price? Seems like a real money grab. The ride itself is nice and smooth. One rotation with stops to rotate riders and then two full rotations. You are in with other people as well. 8 people in each pod. Honestly - nice views but not really worth it. You can get great views on the pier itself or on the water taxi - if you’re looking to see the skyline.

This is NOT a must-do, it is a MUST-SKIP - This activity can definitely be skipped. The view is not as amazing as I expected it to be and is not worth the price paid. When we arrived, we were met with a challenge as Viator provided the tickets with a barcode and the box office is only equipped to scan QR codes. After asking for a manager, I was then told “oh it is not that serious, you can get on”. If it wasn’t that serious, why go back and forth with me for 4 minutes about not having a “correct” ticket. Then there is a sign right before you get on that read “stop for your free picture”, however, when we got off we were handed the PRINTED picture and was given a price of $25… thus NOT FREE! If the picture was indeed free, it would have been worth the price paid. Oh and it was only 2 rotations around.

Nice for kids, but not the Burner - Tripadvisor recommendation followed. But actually only aFressnude at food joint and a kind of small shooting party. Ferris wheel per person 23 dollars. Photo should cost $23. Not so mine.

Disappointed - The Fireworks, did not last no 25 m7nuted this July 3 2024, I timed them and was there way before they started, I was the boat pull out to start the Fire Works. It definetly was not 15 m7 muted at all. It was all of 11 minutes. They started at 9:00 pm and they ended exactly at 9:11 I timed them by phone and others. That were with me. 9:11 not even I minute over, the show was good but the time is disappointing for the travel I had to do for 11 minutes the time they ended, horrible. Also a couple was talking to us at 9:18, said they got there at 9:14 and they were over. I said yes they ended at 9:11 . They also said how disappointing.

4th of July fireworks- A Bust!! - Hours in the car. So-much-traffic! Hot and grumpy kids. For 10 minutes of fireworks?! Our local baseball team delivers a better show on a random summer night. Here’s hoping the rest of our Chicago is better.
