Embark on a brief journey on foot through renowned neighborhoods in Chicago, commencing near Navy Pier and the esteemed Magnificent Mile before making our way to the Gold Coast & River North. Dive into a culinary comparison of two American and two Italian pizzas, to gain insights into how immigrant food like pizza evolved. Explore and taste four different styles of pizzas - Deep Dish, Roman, Neapolitan, and Artisanal - all within a short span of a few hours. We’ll dive into the nuances of how each of these unique pizza styles are made, the disparities in their ingredients, cooking methods, and ovens. There will be ample pizza served, so ensure to come with an appetite!

This was one of the best tours I have been on. If you are thinking about it then do it. Definitely do it again. - First, our tour guide James was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He made our tour excellent.
Pizza selections and places were spot on. Robert’s is the best. Love the Neapolitan, so yummy 900 degree taste. Roman was a surprise like.
The walking was not too much.
I would go again and again.

Take them Hot to Go! - I would recommend anyone and everyone experience this tour!! It’s amazing food, great Chicago culinary history, and at least one handsome bearded tour guide (I think it was James 🤷🏻♀️)

4 types of pizza and easy paced walk - We had four different pizzas , all were delicious. My favorite was the first one - can’t beat sourdough crust and cup pepperoni. Our guide gave us such great info on all the pizzas and general Chicago vacationing advice.

Chi Town Pizza - Our first time in Chicago and this tour was one of the best experiences my husband and I have ever experienced. John was amazing he was so knowledgeable about the history and methods of pizza making and the regions they represent I definitely would recommend this as a must do

Pizza Heaven - We thoroughly enjoyed our guide, James, the various restaurants, our fellow travelers and, of course, the pizza! We were able to try variety of styles, and watch one of our pizzas bring prepared and cooked before our eyes. The walking parts were minimal: we spent the majority of our time sitting in the various restaurants chowing down on pizza. Since my husband couldn't eat pizza, our guide kindly paid for a pasta dish for him to enjoy. One warning---come hungry!!!

Pizza Guru - Our guide was the pizza guru not only in Chicago but he shared a tremendous amount of knowledge of other pizza hotspots Good variety of delicious pizza. Would recommend the tour

Great pizza with great people - My wife and I went on this tour as we love pizza and wanted a way to sample a few different types, so this tour seemed like the perfect activity for us!
We met up with our tour guide James and eight other people and visited four different pizzerias, each offering a different style of pizza.
The pizza was excellent, and we got the opportunity to meet and meet and chat with the others (who were all very friendly) over the course of the three hour tour.
James was an excellent guide who was both knowledgeable and funny.
I'd highly recommend this tour to just about anyone!

An interesting view of city food history - A great way to look at the food history in Chicago and blast some myths. Great guide who has extensive knowledge and great relationships with the places visited, that’s clear.
