Experience the thrill of Chicago’s top-rated magic performance! Enjoy an engaging, intimate, sometimes scandalous, but always amusing show.
The theater is situated at 3453 N Halsted Street, near to the southeast corner of Cornelia Ave. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of the show, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guests over 21 are allowed to bring their own beverages, with cups and bottle openers provided as necessary. We do not provide ice, but there is a 7-Eleven conveniently located nearby at 3407 N Halsted. The show lasts approximately 1 hour.
- Intended for enjoyment of adults. Not recommended for guests younger than 12 years of age.

Near SE corner of Halsted and Cornelia. Across street from Elixir Cocktail Lounge. Door opens 30 minutes before scheduled time. Seating is general admission. Please arrive at least a few minutes early to check-in, use restroom, etc.

One of the best magic shows in Chicago. It was amazing, entertaining, and original. The place has a cute store too. - Amazing, entertaining and original. We had a great time. It is one of the best magic shows in Chicago, and it has a cute store too.

Fun. Terrific magic and great humor - A truly fun evening. Magic is all close up and performed flawlessly. Show has humor running throughout the performance. Be aware. The humor is for adults. Perhaps not the best for children.

Highly recommended - Aaron was funny and he was entertaining and there was audience participation. Do NOT bring young ones under 16 I would say. He makes some comments that might need explaining. Highly entertaining!

Great show for date night or with friends - My brother bought my husband and I tickets after he saw the show and we brought some friends with us. Had the best night and Aaron’s show was fantastic. Truly so many HOW DID HE DO THAT moments which are just the best!

AN ABSOLUTE MUST DO - My wife and I were walking down Halsted on a nice day and we came across Trickery and decided to book a reservation for a future show. The combination of comedy and magic coupled with the audience interaction makes this a special, can't miss experience. Regardless if you're a local or a visitor from out of town, you will have a PHENOMENAL experience.
We will be back when we have friends in town. . . my cheeks were sore at the end of the show from laughing and smiling so much!

Such a great show!! - This was an intimate small venue (35 seats) which was great because you are up close to all the magic and he does lots of audience participation which was fun. Still stumped by many of his tricks and miracles! I read other reviews saying this was more of an adult show and all the adult jokes thankfully went over my 11 year old’s head but my 14 yr old got them all and thought they were hilarious. Definitely recommend!

Highly entertaining and very impressive magic show! - Very entertaining show-intimate room-only holds maybe 50 people and it’s very interactive. My husband and I went with my son and his fiancee and we really were astounded at some of the tricks and how they were done! Highly recommend! Lots of fun restaurants walking distance and you can BYOB/drinks-there is a 7-11 a few doors away!

Great show! - It's a very small venue but packed with cool and engaging comedy and tricks. Don't come expecting huge production value, bc the camp theme of it all really sets the scene. The magician did some really impressive close up magic and tons of audience participation. Jokes are definitely filled with innuendo but I don't think my 11 year old picked up on most of it. I had a great time, laughed and was amazed by some of the 'mind reading' tricks performed. We will be back!

FOR ADULTS! - This is a comedy show that has very racy undertones and sexual innuendos. It is engaging and entertaining and hilarious--if you are prepared and OK with the content matter.
