Amazing Excursion! Don’t miss this opportunity! - We decided on a private tour of Chichen Itza for our family of 4 including 2 children (9 & 11) to help us avoid the big crowds and to learn about Chichen Itza. What we got was so much more! Our tour guide Johny was incredibly knowledgeable not only in the history of Chichen Itza, but about many things past and present in Mexican culture and American Culture (we are from New York) and the conversations we had throughout the day were rich! Johny took us through Chichen Itza (masterfully avoiding the crowds), offering us shade and water throughout our time there. We then had lunch at a restaurant in Valladolid which had delicious local foods which even my picky kids enjoyed! After filling our bellies, we went on to the Oxman Cenote, but while we were on our way it started to downpour! The rain seemed like it wouldn’t end but Johny told us that he was happy to wait the rain out if that’s what we wanted, and we did exactly that. Never once did he try to rush us or discourage us from going to the Cenote because of the torrential rain! At the Cenote, Johny lent us his water proof phone case and we were able to capture some amazing pictures! If you are looking for a fulfilling experience outside of your hotel/resort, definitely check out Tours with Mike, this was an excursion like none other (and we have been on plenty; vacationing as a family about 3 times a year)! When we return to Cancun, we plan on reaching out again to book a different private tour and we can’t wait!

Best guide ever! - My husband and I visited Chichen Itza on a private tour followed by a very refreshing swim in a cenote and a delicious lunch in the colonial town Villadolid. Communication from the company was prompt and very informative. We were very lucky to have Cedric as our guide. Not only does he speak excellent English but he is also very knowledgeable about all things, have a genuine love for his culture and its people. Cedric recommended local dishes to try at the restaurant and we loved every one of them. We would 100% recommend this company for your excursions!

5 stars!! - We had an awesome experience with Tours with Mike. Our tour guide was Jose Manuel and he was so personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to Chichén Itzá, a delicious local lunch and for swimming in a Cenote. The entire day was memorable and is an experience we will never forget. Manuel was a blast to hang out with and I would 100% recommend booking a private tour over a company where you are paired with 30 other people. There is no other way to do it!! Thanks again Manuel!!!
