Wonder of the World - First time in Mexico and impossible not to see this wonder of the world. The archaeological site is incredible. We were accompanied by Hamlet, who explained the history of the site and the Mayans. We just advise to go to Chitzen Itza from the opening because it is hot and the crowd is very present.

The Best Chichen Itza Tour! - We had a fantastic time with Ocean Tours Mexico exploring Chichen Itza. We woke up early to avoid the crowds and it was very much worth it. We were picked up in a clean and spacious van where we were greeted by the professional driver and our guide, Tomas. The ride was around 2 hours to Chichen Itza, but it didn’t feel very long since it was a very scenic drive. On the way over our guide explained some history and fun facts about Chichen Itza. When we arrived we were offered some light snacks and cold water bottles to hydrate before we entered the archaeological site. The guided tour was very interesting and we learnt a lot from Tomas. He explained to us so many things we would have never known if we didn’t have a guide and went on our own. He took the time to answer our questions and made sure we were having fun among the way. The ruins were very impressive to see in real life. It really was breathtaking to stand beside the Temple of Kukulcan for the first time. At the end of the guided tour we had some free time to explore the ruins on our own. We took the optional walk to visit the sacred cenote (5 min walk) and shopped some of the vendor booths selling souvenirs. When we jumped back in the van we were given personalized sandwiches (even had vegetarian / vegan options) plus a snack and juice box. After a long day exploring it was just what we needed for the two hour bus ride back. Since it was a half day tour we had time left in the late afternoon to enjoy the Mexican sun and beautiful weather. Overall it was a great day exploring a world wonder and I would definitely recommend Ocean Tours Mexico!!

Recommended - I loved that the tour was half day. We went early, without lines and before the heat lifts. They gave us drinks, a delicious sandwich and even offered us umbrellas to protect us from the sun. Our guide knew a lot and his explanations were very enjoyable. The driver was excellent too. The best thing was that we could take advantage of the rest of the day at the hotel.

Amazing Chichen Itza site made better by our guide! - Definitely worth doing the early start tour and beat most of the tour busses! Our guide Tomas was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Tomas and our driver Ruban were nice and welcoming. The site is amazing itself, and we're very glad we had Tomas and Ruban to help us get more from the visit. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied, gladly back with Ocean Tours Rivera Maya/ Ankertours! - We were traveling with Ulrich (guide) and Alejandro (driver). Pick up at the hotel was super punctual at just after 6am. Had booked the tour via Ankertours at short notice. Contact ran via WhatsApp without any problems. Every Tuesday they offer the tour in cooperation with Ocean Tours, which was very convenient for us. Normally, this tour only takes place every 2nd time. Wednesday. We wouldn't have been able to do that otherwise. Got a lot of information and were there pretty early. Ulrich has lived here in Mexico for many years and was able to tell us a lot. He also brings a lot of knowledge to other questions about the country. He led our group very well. Before it got crowded, we had our lead through. He also showed us the cenote with the sweat house. Impressive! We felt in good hands all around and we just learned a lot of interesting facts about this unique wonder of the world. There were drinks on board and a delicious packed lunch on the way back. Chichen Itza Tour - This was my first time visiting Mexico and my trip to Chichen Itza was definitely one of the highlights. The sights itself were really beautiful but the tour would’ve fell flat if it wasn’t for the tour guides and bus driver who made this experience 100 times better. Very good, individual and short-lived excursion - The trip was really good and because we were a very small group (6 people) could be very individual to questions. The tour guide Tomás and the rider Arturo were really great.

Trip to maya ruins - It was amazing what an experience. From the start to the end it was a great job from driver and the guide Cesar. Cesar hat a great Knowledge of the ruins. And they care for me with sun protection in form of an umbrella. I don’t have to pay for the rent of it. Thanks for the holiday memories that you make easy for me.
