Fantastic!!! - Alan was THE best guide! He was so knowledgeable about everything - history, nature, culture - you name it! He was so friendly and considerate and the communication was awesome! It was so nice to be able to do everything on our timetable and not at the shim of a group. This private tour was worth every penny. When we got to Chichenita, he handed us over to our guide there and everything was seamless. Thank you so much Alan!

Chichinitza private tour with Yosua was the best. - Our driver/guide Yosua was friendly and helpful, finding a Go-Mart on the early morning drive to Chichinitza from the resort so we could have some breakfast. The ruins were spectacular and he provided lots of interesting details and took many photos of us around the site. The Selva Maya cenote was beautiful and fun, and the lunch was the most authentic and tasty Mexican food we had all week! We spent about an hour in Valladolid for some shopping and wish we had more time to explore, but needed to get back by 6. He certainly steered us to his vendor friends at Chichinitza and in Valladolid, but there was no pressure to buy anything. We did buy a few crafts at the site and some ornaments and perfume in Valladolid. We had pleasant conversations with him riding in the car there and back about 2.5 hours each way - like talking to a new friend. One of the best private tours we've taken anywhere in the world. A great place and a great guide.

Absolutely great experience - We had an incredible time with Alan. He was incredibly nice, punctual, very organised and made our private tour to chichen Itza, Valladolid and the cenote very special. We had such a great day thank you so much for organising and being incredibly hospitable.

Unforgettable experience - We had an amazing experience with Mexican Highlights on our recent tour to Chichen Itza, Valladolid, and a beautiful cenote. Our overall tour guide and driver, Alan, was exceptional. His passion for Mexican and Mayan history was evident as he shared numerous historical facts throughout the trip.
Our day started early at 6:15 AM with our first stop at Chichen Itza. There, we met Mauricio, our Chichen Itza guide, who provided an in-depth explanation of the site. We also had plenty of time to take photos, which was fantastic.
Next, Alan drove us to Valladolid, a charming Spanish town with a historical church and some monasteries. We had lunch there and were free to choose any restaurant, which added a nice touch of flexibility to our day.
The highlight of our trip was the visit to the cenote. When we arrived, there was only one group, and by the time we entered, we had the entire cenote to ourselves. It was a breathtaking experience. Life vests were available but optional, and there were lockers for our belongings. We were happy that we had control over our time and we reached back by 5:30 PM
Overall, Alan went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and memorable experience. We highly recommend Mexican Highlights for anyone looking to explore the rich history and beauty of Cancun.

Chichen Itza tour with Cenote and Historical Town - Julio is an amazing guide with a great deal of knowledge and passion for his country and its history. We felt so well looked after and informed every step of the way. We highly recommend his guidance on any tour of the Yucatan historical areas.

Great guide made it a great time - Eduardo took us on a private tour and made the day absolutely amazing. He’s a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge of the area and history. It was just our group of 5 and we got to Chichen Itza early enough to beat the crowd. Eduardo had lunch with us and recommended some traditional dishes which were all delicious. We had the cenote basically to ourselves (it was a Thursday in December) which was really cool. Highly recommend requesting him specifically through this company!

Excellent private tour indeed - A must visit Chichen Itza tour was something in our mind but we were reluctant to take a long day trip with a 2 years old. But Isa our guide and partner for the private tour made it look very easy. First, Isa is a great person who is kind and understanding. Second, his knowledge around Mayan culture and history is top notch. We really traveled back in time when we visited Chichen Itza, that effectively Isa explained history to us. Not only that, Isa was flexible enough to meet our need for the day around a toddler. Great trip indeed!

Honeymoon chichen experience - What an incredible day. This was my first time in Mexico and I was worried about not speaking Spanish and safety. Our tour guide Julio did an amazing job picking us right up from our hotel lobby, and was so knowledgeable on the history of Chichén Itzá. He walked us through each locations background and importance. We never once felt unsafe. He kept us engaged and took photos of us throughout the day. Definitely one of the highlights of our honeymoon that we will never forget. Would definitely book with them again!
