Couples Trip to Chichen Itza - Excellent and recommended private experience to Chichen Itza if you're in Cancun!
Day started bright and early at 6am. Remember to send your room information to the company before particularly if you're staying in the Hotel Zone! Alan picked us up and was super accommodating. He's super knowledgeable about the region and is a wealth of knowledge on tips and recommendations around the area.
Started off with going on a 1.5 hour tour of Chichen Itza with Joel, who was also super knowledgeable. After the tour we were able to venture around the area a bit. There's no time limit to how long you can stay, just let your tour guide know and he'll relay that info to your driver. Overall wonderful experience.
Then we were off to the colonial town of Valladolid for lunch and more guided walking tour from Alan. Again, super insightful and we learned a lot. Lastly was the Xuxha cenote which was not packed. I suppose it depends on the time of the day, but this was an amazing experience.
Overall, I recommend this tour if you're not into super big groups and doing things on your own time.

Excellent day - This excursion was the highlight of our trip! Alan was an amazing tour guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. We learned so much about the area and culture from him. He took us around the city of Valladolid and a great restaurant. Then the best part was the cenote. It was absolutely beautiful, and we had it all to ourselves that day. Our Chichen Itza tour guide, Joel, was also very excellent, and we learned so much from him on all the buildings and history. I highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous day out with Hugo - Our tour guide Hugo Vega was amazing. He turned up on time and had a great clean car. He knew a lot about Mayan history and got us to Chichen Itza well before the crowds.
He also took us to a local town and we had lunch which was delicious.
Then we went to a beautiful Cenote and had a wonderful swim.
Couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a great day out, this is the tour for you..
He is very engaging and made the day a lot of fun.. such a great guy,

Couples Private Tour - Amazing tour, our tour guide Alan was great, he was super punctual and even made a few stops along the way as we wanted to try some local food. Very knowledgeable as well and super chill guy AND great driver which is important being that we were on the road all day. When we got to Chichén Itzá, Joel took over and showed us the site. He was extremely knowledgeable about Mayan culture and answered any questions we had. What I loved about the tour is that he really did a great job educating us about the place without dragging it. Highly recommended!!

As good of a Chichen Itza Experience as it gets - Our Private Experience was AMAZINGGGG! Eduardo was super knowledgable, friendly and accommodating and made us feel like familia! The Chichen experience was naturally mind-blowing. Valladolid was also a delight, as well as the recommended restaurant we ate at (Mesón de Marques) is genuinely some of the best food I have ever had. And swimming in the cenote was nothing short of magical.
I can't say more good things about this experience!

Erudite & Fun Cultural & Historical Exeperience - We enjoyed a private tour that started in the car with our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, Julio. We were well prepared for Chichen Itza with its rich Mayan history through Julios’ careful and considered information. Following this a Cenote visit, not to be missed, a surreal experience that should not be missed. The venue is beautifully appointed, very clean, the restaurant offers delicious traditional Mexican food in a huge barn that seems to keep you in the moment. We also had ‘Foto’ photographs at the Cenote which are very good and worth the expense. The final destination Valladolid is a delightful first generation Spanish Conquestidor city, stroll around the square, enjoy the colours & architecture.
Tips;
Bring with you, cash $USD for entry to Chichen Itza plus wear comfortable shoes for walking, cover up - there is limited shade, umbrella (for shade) & water/electrolytes.
For the Cenote swimmers & towels.
What to expect;
First class knowledgeable guides.
Comfortable, clean, well maintained cars.
An early start to your day - as Chichen Itza is at least 2 ½ hours from the coast. So grab a breakfast snack before you go.
This is a long day, if you can have. ‘Rest Day’ after!

Exceeded expectations - This trip exceeded expectations. Ulysses was an amazing tour guide. We were up and out early allowing is to miss the crowds and the hot sun at Chichen Itza. We learned tons about the site as we walked to each area. The restaurant Ulysses recommended was a highlight as well. Authentic Yucatan food freshly prepared. We’re still dreaming of the food we ate there. The cenote was not at all crowded and the water refreshing during a hot day. We learned so much about the Mexican and Mayan cultures along the way. Ulysses was truly the best.

Excellent tour a Chichen Itzá with Alex and Julio - Excellent experience. Our guide Alex and our driver Julio helped us to enjoy the day. We feel safe and excellently cared for all day. Early departure makes perfect sense, as it allows you to visit Chichen just after opening and with fewer crowds. The bath in the cenote was an unforgettable experience. Typical Mexican food very rich and beautiful Valladolid.
Grace Alexander and Julius. May everything be beautiful. 😊

Excellent!! - I am so glad I did my research before choosing who to book with. This was the perfect choice for a private tour service. My boyfriend and I did not want to get stuck dealing with being stuck in a bus full of people so this was such a better option! We are so grateful to Alan for generously sharing about history and culture with us. His food recommendations are excellent, and we felt so well looked after the entire day. From picking us up, to visiting Valladolid, to the Cenote, and back home- we were shown the greatest experience, never being rushed at all. Thank you so much Alan!!! We also want to thank Joel for his tour at Chichén Itzá. We are so appreciative to have had the opportunity to visit this magical site and learn about its history being guided by Joel. We both love a great adventure, and will never forget this fantastic day! A warm thank you to Mexican Highlights! - Shanese & Sam
