Could be better. - Pros: Itinerary sorted. Knowledgeable guide. Boxed brekky, lunch and bottled water included. Comfy coach. Cons: The order of site visits was wayyyy off (this could be different in other buses and dependent on guide’s call). Chichen Itza was done mid day in the peak of afternoon sun and not pleasant at all. If it’s a known fact (too hot) and tourists collapsed in the past, would be logical to do it early morning as first stop or late afternoon as last stop. Cenote was done first which could have followed Chichen Itza to cool down? It could have been just my group. Also not entirely hotel pick up if you are out of the way. They will pick up and drop off at a convenient location so just beware of the extra taxi cost. I was so upset I was told it’s hotel drop off and was dropped in the middle of a highway at 10 at night and cannot locate a taxi or uber. Traumatising!! The company was apologetic and offered compensation for taxi but I was not in the mood to discuss as I only wanted to be safely returned to my hotel. So if you book this, clarify the details before hopping on that bus!!! I’d still give it 3 stars because it’s an option for time-poor traveller like myself.

Innacurate Pick Up Information and Long Stops - First, they could have been more specific that they don't go inside the hotel to pick up a guest, and they're only allowed outside the hotel. Their pickup instructions via whatsapp and viator messenger was to be ready at the hotel lobby by 6AM. We were in the hotel lobby sitting beside the front desk table at 6:05 AM, and later on found out that they went to the hotel but just outside the hotel up until 6:07 AM. I know that we were not in the lobby at exactly 6AM but still, we could have made it if they have been more specific with where we would be picked up exactly. We ended up missing the tour and couldn't even go to Suytun and Ik-kil. They rescheduled our tour into the Classic Chichen Itza Tour since the Deluxe Journey Chichen Itza Tour is only available on certain dates. I went for it since we won't get a refund anyway. The Suytun and Ikkil were replaced into Oxman Cenote as the other two cenotes were not part of the rescheduled tour since it's a different one. During the day of the rescheduled tour, when they picked us up, they stopped on the side of the road to collect some fees for more than an hour. Funny how they would just leave you and won't even wait for you for 10 minutes to pick you up but don't care if you sit at the coach for more than an hour waiting on them. We only had 40 mins stop at the Oxman cenote which could have been longer than that if not for the random hour stop. They also took us to an overpriced souvenir shop so save your money and shop at Chichen Itza instead. The prices for the same items are 2-3x cheaper. The only part that we loved about the tour was the Chichen Itza, the guide at Chichen Itza explained the history very well and was very informative. The visit at Chichen Itza was not rushed at least. Also, please be informed that you only get to stop at Valladolid for 20 minutes as the police are strict with it according to the guide. Hopefully, they listen to this feedback so they can provide better service for their guests in the future.
