Great for teenagers! - Simply fantastic. Good pace without being pressed. Good food. So much knowledge to share. Perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 teenagers.

Fun, informative and well organized! - José Manuel was a wonderful and personable tour guide. Everything about the day was smooth and well organized. The van was comfortable for all of us—four adults and four teens and Carlos, our driver was safe and conscientious. Specifically, José Manuel was extremely knowledgeable about Mayan culture and gave us many interesting details as we walked through Chichen Itza. He shared visuals as well which were helpful during some of the explanations and descriptions of Mayan life and the ruins. We had four teens on our trip and they all enjoyed various aspects of the day. While our kids are not particularly picky eaters, they loved, loved the lunch buffet! The kids also had a great time jumping into the cenote and swimming. We ended the day walking through a city center. Unfortunately the chocolate factory was not open at the time which was too bad as we would have liked to have seen that. We highly recommend Palafox Tours!

Amazing Chichen Itza tour - Juan Manuel was a fantastic guide - so knowledgeable and passionate about the Mayan culture. We learned so much and had a great time! The cenote was amazing, and lunch was authentic and delicious. We had a great family adventure!

Such a wonderful experience - Jose Manuel was such a wonderful tour guide. You can tell how passionate he was about sharing his knowledge of the history and culture. Chitchen Itza was amazing to see (it was hot but fortunately there were areas of shade). The lunch was delicious...the best meal we had during our trip (make sure you bring a lot of extra cash for drinks which was not included in our meal - we had 2 lemonades, 3 cocktails, and 1 soda which was $51 USD). The cenote was so refreshing. We highly recommend this tour to anyone! We also want to thank Angel our driver for getting us everywhere safely!

Wonderful! - Absolutely amazing! The personal attention, and obvious enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge of our guide made for an unforgettable day! I can’t speak highly enough of Senor Palafox and his care for every detail. He made sure to include our boys, 8 and 14, in the day and they were captivated and drawn to his every word. Best day ever! - This experience vastly exceeded our expectations! Senior Palafox is so knowledgeable about Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula, and Mayan civilization and culture. Our group ranged in age from 9 to 73 years and every single one of us loved the tour! He prepared us with really interesting information on the ride to Chichen Itza, and with clear explanations of what we were seeing at the ruins. We were left in amazement at the complexity of and relationships between the Mayan architecture, calendar, astronomy, and society. The visit to the cenote capped off the experience. Every single member of our group included something from this day in their favorite memories! Thank you so much!

His vast knowledge, willingness to accommodate all of our various needs and questions, and his approachability made the tour very special and memorable.
