Family visit - 6 adults - We had a great tour guide, Helios, and driver. There were six of us, three couples, Helios was very knowledgable and also very accommodating to our needs and wants. For example, while the tour Chichen Itza is about three hours, we could spend longer if we wanted. In fact, we spent two hours there because the heat and humidity was just so high and he did a great job of taking us around. This meant we got to the cenote early and had it practically to ourselves, which was so much fun. We had lunch at the buffet restaurant and spent a little bit of time in the city, walking around the square and visiting some small shops.

Great experience! Very safe, reliable and interesting! - This was such an amazing experience! Our guide, Alberto was very knowledgeable about the site and the history of Chichen Itza. It was an extremely hot and humid day but our guide was kind and took us to the shades between the sites, asking to hold our bags and umbrella and really doing the most. I would recommend to get an early start on the day since the crowds and the weather does increase over the duration of the day. We did a private express tour from Cancun. Our driver and tour guide was the same individual. I travelled with my sister. Knowing the typical stereotypes of travelling in Mexico, I wasn't sure what to expect. But, our guide made us both feel very safe and comfortable, especially as women. He was very respectful and even told us some interesting facts on our way to the site and back. There were a few options that our guide did mention for food/lunch, but we brought snacks of our own since the journey was quite long and we didn't want to make any additional stops. We reached back to the resort on time. There are a couple packages Kay Tours offered, but I'm glad we stuck to the Express Tour because both of us really couldn't handle the heat. We also wanted to pay the amount upfront and Kay Tours was able to offer us a separate payment link which we preferred doing. If we ever visited Cancun again, we'd certainly go with Kay Tours. On a different/side note, I have an older model of the iPhone and did buy a SIM card/chip but bear in mind that I still didn't have service at the Chichen Itza site (likely because it was in the jungle/boonies). Perhaps ask around if there is cellular reception available in that area.

Awesome Trip, Great Driver and Tour Guide - I highly recommend this tour group. They arrived early, not late like the larger bus tours that make you sit and wait for a bus that's always late! They are completely flexible, more time at Chitzen Itza, less at the Cenote, chose where to eat. We even stopped at a coffee shop on the way to Chitzen Itza. Cold sodas and beer were ready and waiting along with a lite snack at pick up. Charles the driver was excellent and Claudia was so knowledgeable about the the sites we toured. We had them join us at the table for lunch, they are that awesome. You are in control of time spent at each spot. We spent 2.5 hours at Chitzen Itza and then headed to Selva Maya for the buffet lunch which we highly recommend and the Cenote there is absolutely incredible. We then headed to Valladolid, a small town with some shops. We had already been in the hot sun enough and were there for 15 minutes. Total time with the 2.5 hour drive each way was 9 hours, not the 12 to 14 hours with a tour bus full of people. All expenses were paid, entry to everything, lunch, beer, sodas, toll road each way...everything, excluding the shots and beer we had waiting for the buffet to open at 11am. We will use this company again without a doubt!

Private Chichen Itza & Ek Balam tour - We did the private Chichen Itza and Ek Balam tour with Hugo and Guillermo. It was a wonderful day! We learned so much about Mayan culture. While Chitchen Itza is a must see attraction, make sure to see Ek Balam, too! Ek Balam wasn't crowded AND they let you climb to the top of the buildings! That was the highlight of the trip for my teen daughters. We also visited a closed cenote, which was amazing. It had zip lines inside and platforms to jump from. Having our excellent guide and Driver meant we were able to make the most of our time. I highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour - We did the classic, private Chichen Itza tour. Our guide, Hisa, was on time for picking us up, and got us to our destinations quickly and safely. He was an attentive, fantastic guide and gave us so much information about the history of Chichen Itza and surrounding areas on the way there. We are vegetarian/vegan and he made sure that we had lunch options and took us to a local restaurant that had delicious food for us. 10/10, highly recommend Hisa and Kay Tours.

Highly recommended tour of Chichen Itza - Took a private tour with Kay Tours led by Alberto, Jessica, and Carlos. Would highly recommend this tour. The tour started at Chichen Itza, then continued on to a cenote where we had lunch, and then swam in the cenote waters. The tour was originally planned to go to a local town for some shopping, but our guides gave us the option of going to a small family owned coconut plantation for weather considerations (it was near 100°F outside), to drink refreshing coconut water at no additional cost to us. Chichen Itza, of course, was impressive, and the cenote was beautiful. Also, impressive were the tour guides. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and very courteous. They made every effort to take our comfort into account under very difficult weather conditions. They made the tour entertaining and informative. Their tour bus was comfortable, with AC and a toilet. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone.

Memorable group tour of Chichen Itza by Kay Tours. - The whole day tour was organised for group of families and friends. The trip started at 7.00am pick up at our resort Moon Palace Cancun. The early time was recommended by tour company. The coach was very new, clean and spacious for the group of 25 adults. We drove to Chichén Itzá in comfortable & smooth driving by driver Carlos. With two guides Jessica and Alberto the tour of the heritage site was well conducted over three hours. The guides spoke perfectly good English and were very knowledgeable. The trip continued to an all inclusive sumptuous vegetarian lunch followed by visit to Cenote which too was very refreshing and memorable. Unlimited cold water, soft drinks and beer was also part of the trip contract. On the way back we made an unscheduled stop for refreshments of coconut drinks at a family owned stall. The tour operator, the guides and the coach driver were very professional and friendly. I highly recommend them for private hires and any further trips in the future

Visit to Chichen Itza - that was made awesome with Kay tours - We had a fabulous time!! Alberto and Jessica, our two guides, were very knowledgeable and able to explain and convey the history about the places that we visited. They separated the facts from the hype, and made for a highly informative visit. After Chichen Itza, we visited a cenote, and made an ad hoc stop for a round of coconut drinks at a stall on the road. This was an added bonus and wow, an experience to remember! Thank you very much to Alberto, Jessica, and our driver Carlos for an awesome day!

Chichén Itzá, Valladolid, Cenote Tour - David, was absolutely fantastic. He took us on an incredible journey through Chichen Itza, a cenote, and Valladolid. His deep knowledge and passion for the history and culture of these places made the experience truly special. David also shared fascinating history and stories that brought the ancient Mayan civilization to life. Exploring the Yucatan Peninsula with David was an unforgettable adventure, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide.
