Amazing Day Trip - We had a fantastic day with Julio as our guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were picked up right on time and he was a careful driver for the long drive to and from Salinas Lake. Julio was very flexible and let us spend as much or little time as we wanted at the various stops. The picnic that his wife packed for lunch was delicious. The scenery was incredible. The best part of our time in Arequioa. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour to a little visited gem - We booked the private tour to the lagoon in the Salinas y Aguada Blanca Nature Reserve with Peru Nat Red. A wonderful experience! The drive over the old gravel road to Puno is not strenuous and sometimes a bit dusty because of the trucks from the mines. But the experience up there, in seclusion, surrounded by four volcanoes is simply breathtaking. The nature and landscape are incredibly beautiful, there are various flamingos, Andean geese and many other bird species, many groups of Vicuñas, but also their domesticated relatives, the Alpacas and Lamas. And all this practically without other tourists. We only saw two minibuses during the whole day tour - a real insider tip (still)! Our guide Julio picked us up on time at the hotel in Arequipa. He was able to explain a lot about the mountains, the lagoon, the wildlife and plants, but also about their inhabitants. About the culture and history as well as about problems that also arise from humans and their behavior in this area. This is all very close to his heart, he had a garbage bag with him, picked up the garbage he found. However, if he noticed that an object belonged to an offering, he would leave it lying. We found a very nice balance between protecting the environment and preserving ancient traditions. Thank you Julio! Julio prepared the picnic himself for us, in our case also vegetarian. We had it in a breathtaking setting at a small pond while Vicuñas and Alpacas stopped by to drink. Later we were still at the warm springs in the immediate vicinity of the lagoon and climbed a hill (the altitude air is not to be underestimated) to enjoy the view. It was a long but unforgettable day with a great guide. Can we absolutely recommend.

Incredible tour - We took the tour on a private tour to the Salinas National Reserve and Aguada Blanca with the guide Julio. Júlio was punctual, drives carefully, is not in a hurry and did everything to make us feel good. The landscape is truly incredible and with the guide's experience the tour was complete. We made the reservation in Brazil and everything went perfectly well! I recommend!

Great private tour - We had a great tour! Our guide was really nice and told us a lot of things. He was open to questions and with his stories the long drive felt shorter then it was. He drived carefully. He stopped whenever we wanted and helped us to get great pictures. The nature and thr views are great even though we wished for mote salt and less water but the rainy season ended late this year. The picknick was great!

Amazing experience - This excursion was truly one of the highlights of our travels as a gay couple. Julio's expertise on Arequipa and Peru made the experience incredibly enriching, and we felt very welcomed throughout. The Reserva Nacional de Salinas y Aguada Blanca was breathtakingly beautiful, and enjoying a delicious picnic lunch provided by Julio amidst the reserve was a memorable experience. Additionally, the comfortable car added to the overall enjoyment of the tour. We highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Arequipa.

Worth the trip with a great guide - Our guide Julio was really knowledgeable. He was great at explaining the animals and plants we saw along the way. We had a devious meal cooked by his wife.It was a fun day.
