Chișinău, the capital of Moldova, is a city that defies easy categorization. As I embarked on the Walking City Tour through its streets, I was struck by the juxtaposition of old and new, of history and modernity. The city, often referred to as “Small Rome” due to its location on seven hills, offers a unique blend of architectural styles and cultural influences.
