Great day - Glacier was so pretty! Worth the long drive there. Guide and driver were great! This was a last minute booking and I’m glad I did it.

Well worth the price for the views!! - We were a large group lot 10 ranging from ages 22-58 and of different activity level capacity. Our driver was Gregorio (whom we affectionately, and mistakenly, called Geronimo the WHOLE trip and he never corrected us) was on time for our Hotel pickup. The van was air conditioned and comfortable. Alvaro was the perfect guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Your first stop will be at the place to rent winter clothing (ski pants, jackets, hats, gloves and boots). They will charge you an additional $5 if you use your credit card but they do take American dollars. They tried to convince us “that it will be three times colder up the mountain.” Honestly if you dress appropriately, with layers, and shoes that can get muddy you will be fine. It indeed was NOT three times colder. The drive up the mountain was intimidating but our driver navigated safely. Your next stop will be to make a bathroom break. It is 50 cent each to use the bathroom. We also paid in American change. Upon arriving to our destination, the bus stopped and we walked around one kilometer to see the AMAZING views! The scenery for this trip was well worth the price! Our driver made plenty of stops for us to take breathtaking photos. I will suggest for you to eat breakfast and take snacks because we didn’t actually eat our first thing until after 2pm at the chocolate house. I was mislead in thinking this was included in the tour but it is not. You simply get a (single) free tasting and then you purchase chocolates, coffee, hot chocolate or ice cream independently. They will also provide you with a receipt to use the restroom for free. While waiting for our turn to enter the chocolate house, it was nice to sit outside on the unique benches and observe the beautiful flowers. For our next stop we returned back to the original place where you rent winter clothing and were served the picnic consisting of: Doritos, lays chips, two different kinds of wine, juice, salami, cheese, crackers and a cream cheese, soy sauce and flax seed mixture. The latter was an unusual combination but honestly was pleasantly tasty. On the way back to town, our last stop was at a small town to eat empanadas from a food truck. We are Hispanic so the empanadas were large but not impressive taste wise for us. Overall 10/10 for the views don’t expect much for food.

Such a memorable experience 😀 - Better than expected trip, highly recommend. Pickup from my hotel was on time. Benjamin (guide) and driver Angelo were so personable and kind. Benjamin was very knowledgeable and informative and explained in detail with excellent English commentary throughout the trip. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, highlight being Cajón del Maipo which was surreal with unbelievable beauty. The chocolate house, wine picnic and empanada tasting was the icing on the cake. Amazing and wonderful day.

Amazing Tour - Awesome tour and great tour guide, Alvaro, and his driver. It exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make us feel special. The only thing I would tell everyone is to take hiking boots or some sort of boots that will help them not get their shoes dirty. If not, you can rent shoes, coats, gloves, etc. at the beginning of the tour. But the tour is well worth it. The views are amazing.
