Great trip, very pretty viewpoint at the reservoir - Benjamin and Carlos were fantastic guides! It was nice to chat along the way about Chile and its history and culture, in addition to hearing about the Cajon del Maipo area. It's a long drive to the reservoir but it's a very scenic area, and we made some stops along the way there and back for snacks. Benjamin was super knowledgeable and did a nice job communicating in both Spanish and English at the same time, since there were speakers of both languages on our tour.

A must do! - This is a must do when in Santiago. Our guides Álvaro and Alejandro were fantastic!! They spoke amazing English and made sure everyone was having fun with their jokes. 1st they pick you up from your hotel. 2nd they bring you to a little shop which sells empanadas, donuts, coffee, snacks, etc. They take credit 💳 card! 3rd They make little scenic stops for pictures. 4th Cajón del Maipo!!!! Takes a little uphill hike to get to the main spot. Prob 20-30 mins total uphill mild walk but well worth it and you can take many breaks. 5th Chocolate house. They take credit 💳 card! 6th Picnic with amazing wine and a charcuterie board Chilean style.....with Doritos 😆. All in all an amazing experience. Please book this tour. You won't regret it! Gracias Álvaro and Alejandro

Really great day - I had a really great day out on this tour lead by Alvaro. It was unexpected as originally I had booked to go to Portillo but that tour wasn’t able to go so the tour company offered me this one instead. I had a really lovely day as the tour was filled with expected and unexpected stops. On our way to cajon del maipo, we stopped at a few photo moments, along with a cafe in the morning to get coffee. At the reservoir there is about a 30 min walk to the main sight. The walk was not hard but the elevation and altitude made the air feel thinner so I was a bit out of breath. Once there the views are breathtaking. On our way back we stopped at a quick bathroom stop where there were some alpacas and farm animals. From above we were able to see condors which was very exciting. We then stopped at a unique chocolate shop, and then a wine and cheese tasting. After this we got delicious empanadas - you get to choose what you want inside which is ideal for a picky eater like me. That really concludes the tour. It’s then back to Santiago. We got back around 4.45pm. Highly worth the day trip. It was beautiful to see all the mountains, and the stops along the way were fun. Thanks Alvaro!!

DO IT! BEST TOUR EVER😉 - November 2023: My best friend and I enjoyed an amazing tour with Alvaro! It's 100% worth the day trip from Santiago. They were very flexible with pick up and drop off, plus answered all our questions along the way. We got to see the Embalse el Yeso, the glaciar, the waterfall, enjoy some wine, snacks and jokes, the house of Chocolate (the ice cream was amazing), and some delicious empanadas at the end at the local town. It was so much fun and an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much💖✨

Very enjoyable Tour - This trip was made most enjoyable with informative guide , Alvaro and very experienced driver, Alexi . We stopped at a number of very interesting stops and enough time was given to appreciate all that was on offer. We did this amazing hike to the reserve and were blown away by the views. The wine was well chosen and very good and the picnic was fun. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer water to drink after the hike (although one could drink some from the mountain stream if really necessary). A great trip, loved it!!!

Cancelled - This excursion was canceled due to road closures from snow and mudslides. We wish we could have gone to the Andes mountains and it was our last full day in Chile so we didn't get the opportunity, which was disappointing.

Disappointed - Abruptly cancelled our tour late the evening prior. They offered an alternative tour that we participated in only because we didn't have time to make other plans. It was disappointing that there was not sufficient warning to book a better alternative activity. The alternative tour was entirely different than our initial tour. I would avoid this organization unless you're fine doing any random activity or being left with no plans.
