The trek commences in Baños Morales, a highland village located at a height of 1,900 meters (6,200 ft). The path will take you to the stunning San Francisco Glacier lookout situated at 2,500 meters (8,200 ft) and the breathtaking Morales Glacier lagoon. During our adventure, we will pause at the ‘Aguas de Panimávida’ for a revitalising break, a unique location where iron-rich carbonated waters seep directly from the terrain.
The difficulty level is HIGH. This excursion is best suited for individuals with an impressive physical condition. The first hour of the trek is exaggeratedly uphill before leveling out. The difference in elevation during this trip is approximately 600 meters (1,900 ft).
