There are no words for the emotion you feel when seeing Rapa Nui. - This tour, which is the third of three days in a row at a very advantageous price (165 euros total per person), is a worthy conclusion to our stay on Rapa Nui. We visited a total of 10 archaeological sites with excellent, very pleasant local guides (Rapa Nui Dream and Discovery) Keep in mind that on average agencies ask for around 180 euros per person for a one-day tour. The third day closes the tour experience with the story of the competition to be the first to bring an egg from the nearby island to the village of Orongo, by a young man chosen by a clan who, if victorious, will become a kind of demigod.

This can not be missed - Good half day tour and can not be missed while in Easter Island The volcano is beyond description but the the history of the bird man and the houses are an extremely important part of learning and enjoying the trip

Great for a 2nd day trip when your legs are sore! - We were pickup by local guide Vaihere who had amazing knowledge Showed us the volcano Then we saw birdman village and got the history We then did some smaller sites like where they made the statues hats with red rock from cliffs And finally a site that has not been reconstructed with some fallen statues Then dropped off in town and had lunch with our guide

Great 2 hour tour, but pricey - Historic, educational and beautiful. The views of birdman island and the crater are impressive. Our local guide was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. However, this is a 2 hour private tour priced about the same as a full day private tour. Not the best value, but the site is not to be missed.

Crater - This tour was interesting and I'm glad we went. The crater is beautiful and was the highlight of this short excursion. This isn't the tour to book if you want to see Moai, so be sure to book another tour if that's what you're looking for.

Dirty vehicle provided for "Half Day" (actually 2 hour) tour! - The "Half Day" private tour was actually a 2 hour tour. The vehicle was an extremely dirty van (for 2 people + driver/guide) with cat hair everywhere. The guide arrived 25 minutes late and did not have water on-board. When I mentioned that water was "included" he did stop at a store and bought 2 bottles of water for us. Javier, the guide, did provide good explanations at the 2 sites visited. All in all the $270 cost of this tour was NOT worth it.
