Fantastic trip - Easter Island Heritage Tour - We had a private trip with our guide Takerau. We had missed sites due to fog and rain the previous day, so he took us to see the crater and sites with rocks and waves that were actually not on this tour. We loved it! Appreciated getting more history along with scenery.

Great tour ! - It was a really great tour! As my flight was delayed by an hour, Maria fron the agency offered me to start the private tour a little later, which I gladly accepted. The guide Hetereki showed me beautiful places on the island that we could visit without entering the park, including some Moai sculptures, the church, a cemetery and the harbour, where we saw a turtle. As I only had 2 half days on the island in total, he also drove me to the volcano. The island is really beautiful and impressive.

Good Intro to Easter Island - This is a good way to see some of the main spots in Hanga Roa, including the church, the fishermen's coves, and the moai at Tahai. My guide Mea Mea was pleasant and answered all my questions. Overall, I would recommend it for someone who wants to see how the locals live.

Expensive tour and no guarantee your guide will be fluent in the language selected - Our tour was alright, we had a wonderful and sweet guide who brought us to Moai and cliff sides we had not seen yet as they were off the beaten path. She was very attentive and offered to take family photographs The Cliff sides are beautiful and it was nice to be shown around by a local who knew her way around, however due to the language barriers we missed out on discovering the secrets of construction, meaning and traditional way of life However we paid quite a lot of money per person, selected an English speaking guide and our guide was somewhat fluent. This is not a particular problem due to it being necessary to have time to learn English, however she should have been accompanied by a fluent guide. The tour also did not follow the typical itinerary as we did not visit the church, cemetery or town square.

Good idea for a tour but disappointing execution - I was disappointed with this tour. I expected to learn more about the city, its history, and I wanted to see places that may not be otherwise accessible to any tourist.
