Upon arrival, your tour guide will save you hassle by buying the tickets for you, then drive you to the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall, instead of making you queue for the shuttle bus. Once you’ve ascended the Wall, see and climb the impressive defensive watch towers to take in the serene scenery of streams and lush greenery that surround this section of the Great Wall.
After climbing the Great Wall, you can come back to the “Mubus Family” to relax. Located in the center of the Mutianyu scenic area, it is a special lounge area only reserved for the Mubus travelers, offering them with a comfortable place to rest, a restaurant with local specialties, beer and coffee. When you have buffet lunch on the viewing platform, you will appreciate a very magnificent scenery by the intersection of the two sections of the Great Wall here, Mutianyu Great Wall and Jiankou Great Wall which’s well-known “steepest Great Wall of China”. This is a memorable place to take photos.

Easy way to get to Great Wall - Doing this day trip made visiting the Great Wall incredibly easy. I wish I had skipped the tobaggon though, the people in front of me were incredibly slow and automatic messages continuously told me to slow down which was frustrating as I never had the chance to gain speed anyway. The buffet had heaps of vegetarian food available. Michael was very nice and approachable.

Great journey at the Great Wall - The tour was great! The information to meet the group were clear and the bus was punctual. Our guide, Fred, was informative and very fun. The Great Wall worth it! I recommend to wear confortable clothes and shoes to go through the whole way.

Visit the Great Wall of China - An incredible experience, I invite you all to visit this place if you are passing through Beijing. I really wanted to be able to visit the Great Wall of China and thought it might be complicated but in the end everything was very simple. I was lucky to have two guides who perfectly defined the procedure for us as well as a schedule allowing us to make the most of the experience. Joy & Echo are the guides I recommend.

Special experience of walking on the Great Wall and see the beautiful scenery of green mountains - It was a special experience to walk on the Great Wall and see the beautiful scenery of green mountains. The tour guide Michael King told interesting stories on the bus trip, not only about the Wall, but also about Beijing. He gave clear instructions about the process when we arrived at the place. It took longer to get there due to much traffic on 1 May, but we still had 5 hours available and left later instead. The buffet lunch was delicious. I went up and down the mountain by cable car and didn't need to wait at all. (As the cable car got repaired in the morning, maybe less people knew that it worked again in the afternoon. But there was a long queue for the cable way instead.) Walking up to the highest viewpoint (No. 20) was worth it as there's a great view of the mountains. I enjoyed taking this tour as there was a choice for people to decide whether they want to walk up the mountain, take the cable car or cable way and go to the East or West side. (Note: To walk one side takes about 2+ hours. If one wants to walk both sides, it'd be possible if one doesn't eat the buffet lunch, but takes own food along, as the whole walk takes altogether about 4 hours.) Good value for money! I'd recommend this tour.

Great trip with Fred - We had a great trip to the Great Wall by Mubus with our guide Fred. Punctual, lots of information and even some tips where we could go next in Beijing. Even in the evening he replied our WhatsApp messages with tips! Thanks Fred! Would definitely book again with Mubus when we are back in Beijing.

Essential tour for Beijing - Booking the visit to the great wall through Mubus was a fantastic choice! We left by bus towards the complex at the foot of the great wall. During the journey (about 1 h 30 min) our guide Jily told us the history of the wall. She was very nice and clear, even in explaining the information and practical advice to follow.
Furthermore, they allowed us to purchase tickets for the chair lift/cable car/slide to go up/down the wall already on the bus. In total we spent around 38 euros to go up/down both sides of the wall that can be visited. Having a total of 5 hours available, I would certainly recommend going up and down with these means to save time and not arrive tired at the best points. The descent with the slide was a fantastic experience!
Once we arrived at the Mubus building at the foot of the wall, we also had free snacks and tea (we chose the option without lunch).

Great tour with Michael! - I booked the tour with Michael and it was the best decision! They had clear instructions for a meeting point, shuttle bus to the great wall and Michael provided some hreat insights during the ride about the great wall!
I would recommend everyone to book both the east and west side of the great wall as you can do both easily in one day, i did it and it was the best decision!
