Best tour company - We went with Mubus 8am Great Wall tour. Michael is very accommodating and his English is very clear. He is very kind and organised and we felt very taken care of during the tour. He is friendly and gave us tips on the tour. Buffet lunch has great variety and is very delicious. Sufficient time to go to tower 20 and still have time to rest and enjoy lunch. Really good tour experience.

08:00 to the Great Wall of China - "Michael King" was our friendly tour guide.
Good explanations about the process in English.
The tour at 08:00 is recommended, later in the day it gets fuller.
It's all professionally organized. Pass!
Was a wonderful experience - exhausting, but also well doable for people who are not quite as athletic.

Mubus Michael - I had a great time and really recommend this tour. I got a tour with buffet lunch included and it was so worth it! Michael was an amazing tour guide - probably the most caring tour guide I ever had! He messaged us the day before with all the details to make sure we were all set up. On the day he shared all the v interesting info about the wall and more! He even made me pancakes for lunch and was really nice throughout the whole trip. If you have a day or two in China like me, I’d defo recommend this tour as it’s a great price, great guide and great food!!

Private car tour. - We took a private car with this company, the driver was waiting for us in our hotel lobby and easy to identify. Mr. Lu was efficient and friendly as well as a safe driver in a lovely car. The tour had been easy to organise and they accepted cash payment as we don’t have we chat or Alipay. On arrival to the wall reception area we were taken to the Resturant and got easy instructions of the days plan. Buffet lunch is included , you can eat before or after the climb, we would recommend eating first as it’s fresh then , beautiful varied selection of food catering for all tastes, and means you don’t have to worry about getting down the hill before it closes 3.30.
We were escorted up to the cable car entrance , and then it’s easy to work out which way to go! The climb looks daunting at the start but take it steady , rest when you have to , it’s worth making it to tower 20 if you can, even if just for the sense of achievement!

Fantastic day - Well-planned and convenient for solo travellers looking to go to the Great Wall of China with lunch provided. Tour guide Mike is funny and sincere. Appreciate his enthusiasm and passion for the history of the Great Wall of China

Great Wall tour - Was a really good tour, the wall was spectacular, we were left plenty of time to adventure the whole section of the wall, I managed to reach all 20 of the towers in the Mutianyu section twice, the guide Mike was lovely, very funny and very knowledgeable, i recommend
