Guests will be picked up from their hotel and transported to Chinchero, a charming rustic town renowned for its rich tradition of textile weaving. Here, they can observe various textiles crafted using traditional Incan techniques. The next stop is the Moray agricultural terraces, ingeniously constructed by the Incas along the hillsides to cultivate a variety of crops on challenging mountain terrain. Nearby, in Maras, visitors will find over 5000 salt ponds historically used by ancestors to preserve food for extended periods. After exploring Incan agricultural methods, the journey continues to Urubamba for a delightful buffet lunch. Post-lunch, the tour proceeds to the historic town of Ollantaytambo, where guests can ascend over 200 steps to reach the summit of the ancient terraced fortress that offers a panoramic view of the town. The tour concludes with a drop-off at the train station, the main square in Ollantaytambo, or the hotel in Urubamba.
