Unforgettable 16 day South America tour to Peru, Bolivia and Argentina! - Having researched various tour companies over a couple of months I came across Visit South America via Google. They ticked all my boxes, from the countries covered to offering flexible tailor made itineraries and the option to join group tours which was ideal being a solo traveller. From my initial email to VSA, Sofia was prompt to respond and put together an amazing itinerary with the right balance of activities and downtime, and very patient in answering my many questions, thank you Sofia!! VSA arranged and booked everything from domestic flights, hotels, car/train/bus transfers and tours, and made it as seamless as possible which took the stress out of booking such a trip! The tours in all the locations were amazing and really allowed me to experience the culture and see the beauty of each country! The guides (Rose, Richard, Ulises, Gabriel, Peter, Sofia) were informative and engaging. Lots of humour included that some days my cheeks ached by the end 😀 Being a solo traveller I was concerned about safety, but not once did I feel unsafe. All the transfers were included and the drivers were friendly and helpful. Locals were super friendly and I met so many kind and amazing people throughout my trip. VSA knows the unique places to visit that are off the tourist trail and some aren’t offered by other tour companies e.g. sunrise at Valle de las Animas (The Valley of the Souls) in La Paz, Bolivia - incredible! My only suggestion would be that the team be more reachable and communicative during the trip. There were times I had to reach out to the team the night prior, to obtain details for a trip the next day, which should have been sent in advance. On one occasion I tried to contact the team on the out of hours contact number and was left frustrated as no one picked up. Ensuring that line is always manned would help to provide an even more efficient service. If you are planning a trip to South America I highly recommend you contact this company. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again with VSA, I’m already thinking about where to visit next! Thanks very much Sofia, Hilton, Maia, Jimena, Jeff and the rest of the VSA team for planning and executing an incredible trip! 🙌🏽

2 day tour - Machupicchu - 5 out of 5 all the way around! Blessed to have such amazing tour guides. Day 1 was Johans, which was everything before aguas calientes, and Day 2 it was Gregory and wow what an experience! Didn’t stop laughing and learning, plus the breathtaking scenery and culture! Ask for these guides and you won’t regret it. P.S. Both are outstanding photographers! My girlfriend didn’t complain once, and said I need to learn from them 🤣

Terrific day with a terrific guide - I hired Guillermo and a private driver to spend the day taking me through some key sites outside of Cusco. It was a delightful day with lots of information and the perfect time at each site. I could ask a lot of questions and get my answers understood and way that made sense to me, Guillermo has a good command, English language and that I appreciate it very much. Not only does he know his content when I ask him questions he could answer in English, which was important to me. I didn’t have that experience at another place.

Sacred Valley Tour with Tony! - The Sacred valley tour was so much fun! Our guide Tony was the best, so knowledgeable and his English was very good! We got to visit 4 towns and learned so much about each of the archeological sites. He provided just enough information and funny tidbits to keep us interested along the way! We all enjoyed learning how wool is dyed. We came home with a beautiful table runner and blankets to remember the trip by.

Great Tour with beautiful sights - Awesome Awesome tour! The only issue we had was our guide cancelled last minute and we were made aware around 7:30pm night prior. A new guide was assigned and they combined our solo tour with another person! She was very nice and kind and we had a great day!
