The Assateague Explorer captain and the crew will meet you at farthest left side of the harbor. After you enter the harbor, stay left, past the restrooms/harbor master building, and go to the very end of the road. Look for the "Assateague Explorer" sign.

Amazing time would definitely recommend. - The crew was awesome and the views were amazing. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an activity around Chincoteague.

Great Experience! - We did the sunset cruise. The tour guides were super cool. Very informative. We saw all kinds of birds including a bald eagle, dolphins, and ponies! Very scenic, plenty of beautiful views and pictures. Would definitely go again, highly recommend.

Great way to experience wildlife - Captain Shane was great. He was full of knowledge about the Assateague and Chincoteague Island wildlife and worked hard to find as many varieties as he could at that time of night. The watching the sunset was beautiful out on the water. Recommend taking this cruise for a relaxing and fun way to observe the wildlife.

Great sunset tour - The naturalist on the board was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour! The sunset was beautiful, but the best part was seeing the dolphins.

Disappointing - We had an alright time. The biologist was friendly and knowledgeable. The reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because they did not enforce the rule of not standing on the boat. Therefore, every single time wildlife was pointed out, we were unable to see because everyone stood up. The experience was disappointing.

A good experience - Beautiful Sunset and dolphins. Shane the boat operator was great and shared local facts. The trip was very smooth and we spotted a couple of eagles. The ponies were visible but too far.
