Blue Mountains Sunset Tour - Amazing tour and worth every penny. Our guide, Smokey, was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to really explain the history of The Blue Mts as well as Sydney and Australia. I highly recommend the tour and definitely ask for Smokey.

Great views/sunset - Generally a great day trip out for views/sunset. Most of our group went all the way down to the bottom of Wentworth falls and wow it was worth it. The steps down are challenging (steep and wet in places) and not for unfit people. Time flies. Word of caution, stop offs for food had limited choices and location directions/instructions could be a little clearer for people without mobile data.

Highly recommend! - Smokey was an excellent guide and we loved everything about this trip. The bush walk was wonderful and Lincoln’s rock was stunning even though the clouds prevented a “sunset” experience. It didn’t hinder the beauty or the experience at all! Definitely take layers as the temp changes with the elevation.

Great nature walk! - Our guide was David. Easy location for pickup. Beautiful waterfall and park trail as well as cozy neighborhoods. October is a good month for such walks so plan accordingly.

Beautiful Blue Mountains but.. - The day started with delays. Consequently, the visit to Three Sisters felt very rushed. The main hike was at a beautiful spot. The guide Mitch gave some info about spiders. However, Mitch unintentionally perpetuated colonial narratives during the tour, depicting traditional owners of the land as quite basic. It was an unfortunate reflection of societal racism and ignorance in Australia. For example, he described how aboriginal people "didn't have maps" and how they used to shout through the bush to find their tribe. Nothing was mentioned about songlines and complex systems of navigation, ancient cultural knowledge and deep connection to country etc. Mitch also encouraged tourists to draw on the rock with mud, and showed us how the graffiti would stay for years (see photo). I found this both culturally insensitive and also completely at odds with "leave no trace" eco tourism expected of a hiking nature tour. The waterfall is well worth the steep descent/ascent and the highlight of the day. My verdict would be to visit the blue mountains but not on this tour.

Horrible experience with Blue Mountain sunset tour last week ii - It was the worst tour of my life and now I am 72. Could not see the blue mountains and any of the waterfalls due to heavy fog and light rain. The tour operator should have given the entire group a rain check to come back some other day when it was sunny.
