The “Grand Cellars of Cricova” are home to a diverse range of wines and The National Oenotec. This area also showcases unique pieces, like the “Jerusalem of Easter” vintage from 1902 and the “Jan Becher” liqueur vintage from the same year, along with another 158 brands.

The story of Cricova

According to myth, in 1966, the cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin went into the cellars and was not seen again for two days until he was eventually assisted out. Russian President Vladimir Putin opted to celebrate his 50th birthday within these cellars.
