Perfect 1-Day Tour - This was a perfect one day tour. The tour guide was nice, talked in Spanish and English and explained everything what was important to know. On the 1 Day tour we just did a 1 hour hike. I wished it was longer but therefore is the 2-Day hike for. Breakfast was included, which was small but it is better like that because of the high altitude its good not to eat too much. The lunch buffet which was optional had a lot to offer and was really tasty. We had a chance to go to the thermal baths and I recommend it to you. It was so relaxing ;)

Optima - Guide Nelson is a very fun and friendly man. The whole tour went very well, with excellent views and interactions. Breakfast was the only less pleasant part.

Visit the Colca Canyon...a real dream! - Excellent experience! An unrivalled journey. Luxury service. We learned a lot with our guide José Luis, who in addition to warm and friendly, made us feel cared for and super well accompanied.

Intense and satisfying - You see a lot in 1 day so you only have a limited time at each stop. If you want a more relaxed tour, take the 2-day tour. Our guide Nelson did a great job finding the right balance of time. He made the whole experience very interesting. We took the tour with our three teenage kids and the enjoyed it as well. It was on my birthday and Nelson went all out to make it a great day. Juan Pablo, our driver, mastered the mountain routes like a pro. Expect to be tired at the end of the day and don't forget sunscreen and bug spray. The nasty bugs will eat you up in the canyon. All-in-all well worth the money

A Spectacular Tour of Colca Canyon! - We visited Colca Canyon on a private tour, which we arranged a few days before arriving in Arequipa. It was easy to arrange the tour, and we visited the office the day prior to finalize the trip. Our driver arrived at our hotel right on time at 5AM, and soon we picked up our guide Walter. We chose to start later and it was a great decision! After a photo stop for volcanoes at 16,200 feet, then vicunas and alpacas, we had a quick breakfast stop at 8AM before we went to the Canyon. We had told Walter that we like to hike, so he took us on a great walk to several scenic viewpoints. The hike was challenging due to the 12,000 foot elevation, but it was well worth the effort! And we saw condors flying! December is the start of the rainy season, so we weren't expecting to see them, but luck was with us. After almost 2 hours of hiking, we headed to a thermal bath complex for a nice dip, which was great after the hike. Then we stopped off for lunch, which was super cheap but delicious. We had a hard time staying awake for the trip home, but Ever did a great job despite all the traffic, and we were back at our hotel at 6PM. I'm glad that we did a later tour because we had the Canyon all to ourselves. We would be very happy to use this tour agency again. Note - all Colca Canyon tours require that you pay your own admission, which is S/70 per person. Breakfast is included, but lunch is not. Two crispy chicken sandwiches and an order of papas fritas cost S/48. The thermal baths cost S/15 per person. Bring cash.

The Condor's Myth... - Fun tour, excellent guide, with little time on the condor cross and a lot of time wasted on “additional” stops without any real attraction. The tour could be shortened by avoiding the transit from the end of the day to return to Arequipa.

A jampacked and great one day tour! - We had a wonderful full day tour with Nielsen our guide from the Peru Baby Llama agency. Despite a very very early start, we fit so much into the day and even did stops that weren’t on the itinerary. At the thermal baths, there was also the opportunity to do a zip line, kayak or ride a quad bike. The short hike through the Canyon was lovely and we did see one condor. I personally would have given up the thermal baths stop so we could spend more time at the canyon but other than that a great day!
