Collection at 7:30 AM, the tour conductor will rendezvous with you at your lodging in Arequipa, initiating our day-long, either private or communal, excursion to the Colca Canyon, the world’s second most profound gorge.
En route, we will reach the altitude of 4200 meters at the Pampa Cañahuas Reserve, where we can observe vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas. A stop at Patahuasi to enjoy a cup of tea is included.

We will ascend to the apex of Patapampa, situated at 4800 meters above sea level, a natural vantage point offering panoramic views of the mountainous terrain.
By 1pm, we will enter the town of Chivay, perched at an elevation of 3600 meters. We’ll dine in Chivay and settle into our accommodations. The afternoon is reserved for a visit to the thermal baths at La Calera, followed by a return to Chivay.

In the evening, we will convene with the tour guide in the hotel lobby to partake in a dinner accompanied by a traditional folk performance, then retire to the hotel for the night.

Chivay - Cruz del Condor - Arequipa

At the break of dawn, 5:30AM, we will have breakfast and set off for the renowned Cruz del Condor to witness the soaring condors. On our return journey to Chivay, we will stop at various scenic overlooks and visit the villages of Yanque and Maca.
Upon returning to Chivay, we will have lunch and then proceed back to Arequipa. We anticipate arriving in Arequipa around 5PM and will facilitate your transfer to the hotel.
