Situated in southern Peru by the Colca River, the Colca Canyon stands as one of the world’s deepest valleys and a preferred hiking spot. Known for its appeal to rafting aficionados, the area is home to the large Andean condor, visible from various lookouts including the Cruz del Cóndor. This green valley hosts several remote ancestral villages where traditional Inca-style terrace farming is practised.
