Tour of Akihabara - Our tour guide Mark was very flexible and accommodating. He catered the tour to what we were interested in seeing and skipping. The value of the tour is seeing what you might not think to search or look for.

Recommended! - Very nice walk with all the hotspots in game (oid and new) and anime. Son (16) loved it. We went to places we would never find or imagine ourselves. That's fun and surprising. Highly recommended!

Good tour - We went to alot of retro areas and the guide knew alot og the areas but it was not what i expected. The last stop cafee was somewhat strange but funny. It was a good tour if you are into retro gaming.

Don’t waste your time with this one - better explored on your own - We were in Akihabara for one day and thought this would be a good way to see the area. We went to super potato (retro gaming shop which was pretty good) and a few random merch shops (with a small selection of goods eg key rings). There wasn’t any anime or manga history - just looked at some Gundam models in the station area (which you will organically see when you arrive at the station anyway). The gaming was tepid. Some old arcade machines - I think the only decent one was an old marvel vs capcom machine. The maid cafe was weird and lacklustre - not sure if perhaps we went to a low end one. The tour didn’t add any value for us - we couldn't wait for it to end as it was using up valuable time for us to see the area properly. Luckily it was only 2 hours instead of the advertised 3. I paid about £150 for two people - I left feeling distinctly ripped off.
