The guide, familiar with Akihabara’s renowned stores, will collaborate with you to design a schedule. They will also recommend curry and ramen noodles, known as Akihabara’s “otaku food” (vegan and vegetarian options are available for those with dietary needs). The tours are also suitable for children.
- Customers will be walking around Akihabara in my tour so no seats are required. As for the infant seats at a restaurant, we will have to check directly with the restaurant on the day.
- The remaining time is allocated for the travel time

Highly recommend! - Nao was an amazing tour guide. He showed up several places in Akihabara that we didn't know existed and spent the time to give us the historical context behind everything. We would absolutely recommend him and if we come back to Japan, we will be booking with him again!

Amazing outing. Would tour again - I had so much fun exploring through Aki with Nao and visiting all of the shops. It felt like an outing with a friend instead of a guide as we explored the streets looking for deals on souvenirs and Otaku swag. Nao took his time and I never felt rushed as we explored the shrines and various shops throughout Aki. I would honestly go on the tour again just to continue to explore as the many different shops and stalls are sure to have more fun things to see and buy. Nao was an expert at navigating the area and took the time to point out which shops and items had the best deals so I definitely got the best value for my time with a tailored tour for myself. 5 stars would tour again.

Great customised walking tour! - Nao really took the time to make sure my teens and I had an interesting time at our Akihabara tour. As my kids weren't completely obsessed with anime, he found other places of interest and gave advice on what arcade game centres and claw machine centres were good. He found places where my kids could check out and buy figurines that they were interested in. he was very generous with his time and even gave the teens some gifts at the end. A great bonus was that he took photos of all of us together which I find hard to get when I'm travelling.

Nice and steady. - I have only nice things to say about Nao, our guide.
Punctual. Took us steady though Akhabara with shrines and shopping. Told us history of shrines that I didnt know before. Since we all were reasonable interested in anime, he conected the lines of what is seen in some anime and the history behind the shrines. I would say he did well with my teenager and me. Managed to keep dialog with us both. He stayed with us for longer than plan ed. He is a photographer as well, and was kind to take pictures os us with his camera and give them to us. Thank you

Excellent way to explore Akihabara! - Wonderful experience and highlight of our stay in Tokyo. Nao was an excellent guide. Great English and enjoyed the cultural lessons at the shrines and my teen boys loved visiting the anime/manga/game stores. We were able to purchase game art books that we can’t find in the US and other great items. Had fun playing retro games at an arcade and enjoyed yummy Ramen. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Akihabara experience with Nao - While on our family vacation in Japan, my two boys (pre-teen and early teen) and I wanted to experience Akihabara based on our interest in Japanese history, food, and culture including games, anime, and electronics. Nao did an absolutely fabulous job of soliciting our interests and then designing a tour experience tailored to our family that exceeded our expectations. We spent time everywhere from the Willow Forest Shrine (learning a tremendous amount about Shinto practices that we used for the rest of our trip in Japan) to shops, arcades, and more. We had a blast playing retro games, jamming in the arcade as a rock band, and checking out fun items in stores. My boys were thrilled to be able to collect some Japanese Pokemon and Magic cards at a great value due to Nao’s knowledge. Nao also went way above and beyond to ensure I was able to find and purchase a Japan-only board game I was looking for. Thank you Nao for a great experience and for being such a friendly and thoughtful host!

I recommend tour to families with teenage children! - This tour was a gift to my 12 year old son. He had a great time. The guide was fun and flexible. We had plenty of time. Later we continued the research on our own. I recommend it to families with teenage children! My son was very happy.

Completely tailor tour - Had a great time with Nao! He tailored our time in Akihabara to my daughters interests. He was able to connect with my teen through manga and find places that interested her. I would tour again with Nao.
