A day around Mt Fuji - Amazing tour guides - Andrew and Susan were the perfect team. Everything went smoothly. And in the very end we even saw a tiny bit of Mt Fuji. Great tour in total.

One-day tour of Mount Fuji's - I booked the Mount Fuji tour from them and it was an amazing experience and the Guide Sawaki was amazing. It was also fascinating how he was switching from English and Chinese every moment when he was giving the tour. I will highly recommend this tour from GoGoday

A pleasant day of travel - Lina was our guide, and she was super friendly and helpful. The itinerary was well planned, and we got a great view of Mount Fuji. I especially loved the peaceful stop by the lake. The matcha experience was short but still pretty cool.

Great tri p - This was my first trip to Japan, and it was amazing! I was super lucky to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji—Martin, our guide, said we had only a 20% chance because the weather changes so fast. He was right; it started raining on the way back. I also got to ride a cable car with awesome views of Lake Kawaguchi, and trying Japanese matcha was a real treat. Oshino Hakkai was this cool, old Japanese village that was a bit crowded, but still really beautiful. Plus, you get a great view of Mount Fuji from there. Martin was such a friendly and enthusiastic guide, and the driver was super polite. One thing to note: finding Martin at the meeting point was a bit tricky because there were so many guides and groups from Gogoday Travel. It’s a good idea to get there early to avoid the mix-up.

Today’s weather wasn’t... - Today’s weather wasn’t the best—just a lot of light rain, so the view of Mount Fuji from the Lawson store wasn’t super clear. But honestly, that’s not on the guide. The drive from Tokyo to Mount Fuji is about two hours, and taking public transport would be a pain, so signing up for the tour was a smart move. Our guide, Andrew, was a young, good-looking guy who really took care of everyone, even though we were all from different countries. He spoke English, Chinese, and French, and gave us some great info about Japan’s history and culture. I’d totally give him five stars. Even with the bad weather, it was still a really fun trip!

Bus is too small if traffic issues - The bad: bus was a small 20 seater or less. No creature comforts except a/c. Was expecting a large coach. I'm 6', legroom is cramped. Leg room restricted where the bus wheel arches intrude. Traffic chaos resulted in 4.5 hr journey there. First bathroom stop was 45mins before arrival. Return journey was 3.5 hrs; more traffic issues. Left Tokyo stn 8am. Returned 8pm ish. ! The good : Andrew was a great guide. Informative and entertaining. But even he was exasperated by the delays. Remarkably, we fitted everything in. First stop there as lunch Then the convenience store car park insta shoot. We had enough time to see the lake, go on the cable car ( just before the massive queues ), have a green tea ceremony and 45mins around oshino hakkai village. I realise traffic is outside the tour operator control, but I think for a 3hr each way trip a large luxury coach is appropriate transport. We were exhausted by the bus trip.

Erina was great - not worth the money or time - Erina was excellent and she deserves 5 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the organisation of the tour manager was incredibly poor. I had to follow up the evening prior to the tour to get contact details and also find out where we had to meet. They told me they did not have my email address despite me entering it into my booking and using Viator so many times prior with other companies with absolutely zero issues, so if I had not reached out to them, I would have forfeited my tour. Despite receiving multiple messages from the tour manager, I only received an email for the location at 5am the day of the tour. Also, the lady who was greeting us at the train station this morning for GoGoDay was incredibly rude. Today - was a public holiday in Japan and there was more traffic on the road. It took us 3.5 hours to reach out destination, we waited 50 minutes in line in the heat to go on the cable car and had 5 minutes at the top of the lookout. Also, there were clouds over Mt Fuji, so we saw nothing. And then we went to lunch. We then went and drank tea - I felt that this could have been skipped and went to a local village. The village was lovely and would have been great to have extra time here. It took us 4 hours to get back to Tokyo. Very long day with zero Wi-Fi on the us that they do not tell you about until the morning of the tour. I saw there were other tour companies that had a big us like ours with Wi-Fi available. it of a money grab as there were over 50 of us on the bus, and I did not feel it was worth the time or effort.
