In addition to the cherry blossoms in spring, the fresh greenery of summer, the autumn foliage, and the winter snow are all exceptionally beautiful. The 5th Station of Mount Fuji is situated halfway up the mountain, at an elevation of 2,305 meters. As Japan’s highest peak, Mount Fuji offers different perspectives from both afar and up close. From the nearest viewpoint, gazing up at the summit allows one to appreciate its majestic beauty. On clear, sunny days, panoramic views of the surrounding scenery, including Lake Kawaguchi, can be enjoyed from this vantage point. When shrouded in clouds, a magnificent sea of clouds can be seen below.
